All You Need is Love and a Cat…and Red Satin Ribbon
Hello, Ribbon Lovers!
Do you ever discover a color combo that you love so much that you keep combining it in different ways? Lately, I have been grooving on red and aqua. I love the way those two colors make a project pop. It just so happens that these two colors are featured prominently in Graphic 45’s “Raining Cats and Dogs” collection, and I pulled this sweet “All You Need is Love and a Cat” card together using those papers and fabulous Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I made that Looptastic double layer/double loop bow with Red Sheer Organza with Satin Stripe Ribbon and my Zutter Bow-it-All Tool. If you haven’t mastered this bow yet, here’s a lovely little video from RRR’s YouTube Channel that will have you tying your own loop-tastic bows in no time flat.
This ribbon is great for someone who is nervous about their bow tying abilities, because it is super soft and easy to work with. And Sheer with Satin Stripe Ribbon comes in a rainbow of colors, too!
I matted all the layers with black cardstock so that each one would stand out on its own. And topping that amazing bow with a bright aqua posy and hand cut leaves draws the eye right to the focal image.
Thanks for stopping by!
