Arianna Cottage Card Tutorial

Arianna Cottage 02Arianna Cottage Tutorial for Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

Hello, Friends!  Welcome to the very first Heartfelt Creations Wednesday of the month.   Today, I’m sharing the first of two cards made with the beautiful Arianna Blooms Collection from Heartfelt Creations.  I am completely smitten with this stamped image, so I created a second Arianna Cottage card tutorial to share with you.

Arianna Cottage 01aI used a watercolor brush and Distress Markers to color in this stamped and embossed image.  A foil die cut was added along with a host of the beautiful Arianna Lace Dies.  A tiny Arianna blossom was topped with a pink cabochon and a frilly light pink organza bow that’s been topped with White Iridescent Metallic string.  Some Stickles, and pearls and this 6″ x 6″ top fold card is complete.

Thanks for stopping by today!  You’ll find a complete supply list and detailed tutorial for creating this card below.  I hope your day overflows with joy and creativity!

Direction: Create a 6″ x 6″ card base from pink cardstock. Cut the 6″ x 6″ card front from the paper collection and trim out the edges. Ink the edges with Aged Mahogany DI. Stamp the Cottage Garden onto white ultra smooth cardstock with Olive ink. Heat emboss with clear embossing powder. Color the scene with Distress Markers and a detail water brush. Die cut with the Spellbinder’s Circle die. Cut the metallic pink cardstock with the Delightful Circles die. Use foam tape to add the colored scene to the die cut circle. Secure crochet lace to the center of the card front. Die cut the decorative pieces from Arianna Lace die and add to the card front. Use foam tape to add the prepared focal to the card front. Die cut 3 sets of the Arianna Lace die, cutting each one in half. Arrange around the card focal, securing with glue. Stamp and die cut the two smallest flowers from Arianna Blooms. Color with Distress Inks, spritz with Perfect Pearls, shape and stack. Add the small flower center and hot glue on top of the bow. Die cut the ticket from the paper collection. Tuck beneath the flower. Accent the artwork with Stickles. Add pearls.
