Baby Birds and Blossoms Card and Tutorial (Heartfelt Creations Wednesday)

Well, Friends….it’s the last Heartfelt Creations Wednesday for the month of May, and I am sitting here scratching my head and wondering how the time passed me by so quickly!  Between a mini vacation to the beach, traveling to the mountains to watch our youngest son receive his Master’s Degree, a trip to Baltimore to visit my sweet daughter Liz and Memorial Day weekend, this month simply vanished!  The happy memories made during this very busy month will last forever!  I’m popping in to share a Baby Birds and Blossoms card and tutorial made with the precious Sweet Lullaby Collection from Heartfelt Creations.

Now, you know I love my birds, so it was a given that I would use this card front from the Sweet Lullaby paper collection .  I combined it with the elegant Raindrops on Roses die and the Sweet Lullaby Die along with a chipboard branch and  Spellbinder’s Opulent Ovals.  The sentiment is stamped with the Sweet Lullaby Sentiments and then die cut with the very useful Once Upon a Time die.  The gorgeous ribbon is Delicate Stitched Satin from Really Reasonable Ribbon. You’ll find a complete supply list and a detailed tutorial below.

Here’s a peeky at the inside of the card:

I also want to provide a link to my Take the Road Less Traveled mini album TUTORIAL I goofed up and published this on my blog, but forgot to upload it to the Heartfelt Creation site.  It is being featured this week on their blog and I want to make sure you can find the tutorial and detailed photos in case you missed it the first time around. Here’s a little photo of that project.

Heartfelt Road Less Traveled Mini 02aI’m sorry that I messed that up….like I said…May has been a busy month!  LOL

Thanks so much for stopping by today.    Be sure to visit the HC BLOG for even more inspirational ideas from the rest of the design team.  I think there is a new video there today as well, and Emma Lou always shares the best ideas!  I’d love to hear what you would make with this sweet collection….hearing from you always makes me happy right down to the tips of my crafty little fingers.

Kathy…YOU are one busy lady! Your baby cards have all been so sweet! This one is no exception. That raindrops on roses die cut is so sweet…such lacy, delicate flowers! The little bird couple is also so cute sitting on the branch, in expectation of their new little arrival. 🙂 Your Road Less Traveled card is also very striking! I need to check out that tutorial link. 🙂 Thank you for the sweet comment you left on my blog about the faux roses canvas. <3 Candy

I don’t know how in the world you keep up with what you are supposed to be doing on any given day. I would need someone following me around telling me what move to make next…but then again I need that anyway. Love this sweet card and your flowers are just gorgeous!
