Hello again, Friends!  As promised, here is my Bundle of Joy Baby Boy Card and tutorial.  The stamps in the Sweet Lullaby Collection have a tendency to make me squeal with delight.  Take a look at this Noah’s Ark stamp from the Precious Lullaby PreCut Set:

HC Noahs Ark Card 01aI added stitching, watercolor, Glossy Accents and distressing to this 6″ square card.  You’ll find a complete supply list and detailed tutorial at the end of this post.  I also used the Decorative Lattice Swirls Die to frame the main image.

Other Products: white cardstock, baby blue cardstock; Scallop punch; Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink;Distress Markers; Ribbon, buttons, string, foam tape, UTEE, Versamark Ink, Clear Embossing Powder
Direction: Create a 6″ square top fold card base from baby blue paper. Ink the edges with Tumbled Glass DI. Cut a slightly smaller piece of the yellow paper and machine stitch around the edges. Distress and ink the edges. Glue onto card base. Die cut and emboss both of the Decorative Lattice Swirls using white cardstock. Cut the card front from the collection and trim to 4″ x 5″. Die cut the oval using the largest Spellbinders oval die, creating a frame. Ink the cut edge with Tumbled Glass. Stitch around the edges. Cut a 4″ x 5″ rectangle of blue floral paper from the collection and glue to the oval frame with foam tape. Stamp Noah’s Ark on the oval you cut from the frame with Jet Black ink. Heat emboss with clear embossing powder and color with Distress Markers. Fussy cut around the image. Cover with Versamark and UTEE. Heat emboss. Use foam dimensionals to tuck in between the two pieces of the frame. Run double stick adhesive along the bottom of the card and add ribbon, string and button. Glue one Decorative Lattice Swirl Die above the frame and one beneath and to the left of the frame. Glue the frame onto the card base. Use the scalloped tag from Luggage and tags die to cut out the sentiment tag. Top with matching ribbon, string and button. Secure to the left of the frame with foam tape. Stamp and die cut the Sweet Lullaby Sentiments. Color Bundle of Joy with Tumbled Glass ink and secure to a scalloped circle with foam tap. Glue to the top left corner of the card.
