Hello, Friends!  Old Man Winter just seems to be hanging on for dear life. I’ve been making my own springtime in my studio with pretty papers and flowers and ribbons!  This Authentique Jubilee Center Step Easel Card Tutorial is a really quick and easy card design.  Build the base with just two simple straight cuts and one simple fold.  The end result  looks so amazing, everyone will think you are a card making genius!

These are the cards we will be making today.  Aren’t they darling?  Each top fold card measures 7″ x 5″.   I love the fact that the center step easel design makes it very easy to set these cards out for display.

I really appreciate the fact that there are images and patterns that are not strictly for Easter.  This beautiful 3″ x 4″ image from the cut apart page lends itself to any occasion.  I just love a versatile paper collection, don’t you?

Other Fun Projects: Eileen Hull Trinket Box Home Decor Piece

Once I opened this beautiful paper collection up, I simply could not stop playing with it.  It’s always fun to add a little fresh home decor to welcome springtime.  So I pulled out my Eileen Hull Trinket Box Die to create this dimensional vignette.

I had one more fun idea for a Jubilee Easter card.  This 5″ x 7″ top fold card base has a 1/2″ spine and a hidden tag pocket on the front.

I fussy cut the banner and floral cluster from the top corner of Jubilee Two. Then I cut out a 4 7/8″ x 6 7’8″ panel with the bunny image from the same sheet of paper.  After stitching, inking and distressing the paper edges, I rolled the top left hand corner around a pencil to create a scroll.  Next I backed my card base with a complementary paper and glued the two layers together, leaving a gap in the top left corner for a tag.

This is the tag that pulls out of the card front.  Fun, right?

I could have kept right on playing with this delightful collection, but I had to go start dinner.
