Classy and Fabulous with RRR

Hello again, Ribbon Lovers!  Today I have a classy and fabulous  card featuring Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This 5″ x7″ kraft base card has a gate fold opening and lots of fun little details .  Let’s take a peek:

The quote on the pocket says, “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.” And I think a card should be, too. So  I  added a two tiered bow made from black plaid ribbon to this Couture card to give it that classy and fabulous element.   I tucked a couple of peacock feathers into the pocket, just for fun. I threaded a button with gold metallic string and added it to the top of my bow.  And of course, I used my Bow-it-All tool to tie both!  If you don’t know how to tie these two tiered bows, Bonnie has a great video tutorial you can watch.  It’s easy once you learn how.

I used Glossy Accents on some of the chipboard banners.

The card focal and pocket were glued to the left hand flap of the front, as you can see here.

OMG. That is Absolutely Stunning and the inside is just as gorgeous as the outside. Very classy card.
Love the peacock feathers; they really add a ‘punch’ of color to the card along with the beautiful backing paper.

Kathy…oh my word! This card is very cool. Love the interior of this! It’s so colorful and very very striking. Your exterior with the peacock feathers is so different! I really like it, too. SO many love things to look at on this. I also wanted to thank you so very much for all of your sweet comments you’ve left on my blog…particularly the last one regarding my last post for Simon Says Stamp’s Design Team. It was a tough decision to leave but I just needed to follow my heart and know that it was just time. You know? I am excited about what might be around the bend on this really fun art journey we are all on. Your work is so inspiring; as are your comments! Thanks so much, my friend. <3 Candy
