Hello, friends! And happy Friday to you! We made it through another week. Hooray for us! I’m popping in today to share a cute Crafty Secrets gift pocket card idea with you. I love making cards that can double as gifts, so I devised a cute little pocket and tag duo with just enough room to tuck in an individually wrapped chocolate, a gift card or a foil wrapped tea bag. Any small, flat item would fit in here and then the card becomes the gift!
I created my pocket and tag from kraft cardstock and then began to layer on images from Crafty Secrets Girlfriend Creative Scraps. Sandy has all the Creative Scraps on sale right now, as she is trying to empty out the U.S. warehouse so she can work from home in Canada. Creative Scraps are double sided and loaded with tons of fun images.
I lined my pocket and tag with digital Classic Pink Damask papers to stay with the soft, girly feel of this project. The cute bingo card is printed from my favorite Typography CD. There are hundreds of gorgeous bits of ephemera tucked into this CD and I find myself using it nearly every time I create. A little Diamond Stickles, some Pink Cottage Roses , Iridescent Metallic String, and a touch of bright pink striped grosgrain ribbon and this gift pocket card is all dressed up and ready to go! The die cut label at the top of the tag has been embossed with copper embossing powder. I added the sentiment from Thinking of You to a piece of scrap cardstock and mounted it behind the label opening. The little white clip holds the tag up high enough so that you can see our Victorian beauty right away. I’m going to send this to my dearest girlfriend and birthday buddy in Atlanta.
That’s it for me today, folks! Be sure to check out the sales in the online store and the inspirational samples on the BLOG. We also have another Linky party coming up in about a week, so you can be busy getting your projects ready to link up there. Can’t wait to see what you make!
Thanks for stopping by….your visits make me happy right down to the tips of my crafty little fingers. Until next time,
