Crafty Secrets Summertime Printables
Hello, my friends! Wow, has this been a busy week! I always look forward to summertime, and then when it gets here, it seems the days just vanish into thin air. It’s hard to find the time to do everything that needs to be done, let alone make cards. But our family is filled with summertime birthdays and special events, so card making is a must around here. When I am short on time, I love to use printed images. And right now, my favorite printed images are on the Crafty Secrets Summer Printable Sheet. I have them in digital form, so I can size them however large or small I want them to be, and they are so pretty, I find I am really inspired while working with them. Here’s a pretty vintage phlox card I made using them.
This 7″ x 5″ top fold card has a kraft base, and uses digital papers and ephemera from the Creating with Vintage Typography CD. I stitched around the base layer, then added a strip of 2.5″ wide Vintage Travel Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I topped this with Tim’s die cut weathered clock, a scrap of vintage lace, Iridescent White Metallic String and a pretty red rose. The phlox image was inked and coated with Rock Candy Distress Paint to give it a wonderful aged look.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
