Crafty Secrets Vintage Valentine

Good morning, friends!  I have a sweet, simple Crafty Secrets vintage valentine to share with you this morning.  Don’t you just love this little girl hanging her wash out on the line?   Her doggy is keeping her company, but I bet her clothes will have to be laundered again because he’s sitting in the laundry basket!

This 7″ x 5″ card has a kraft base but I’ve layered some distressed pink cardstock over it, along with some fun polka dot paper.  The post card was stamped with one of my favorite Valentine stamps.  Timeless Romance measures a whopping 12″ x 12″ and is loaded with hearts, keys, stamps, postcards and sentiments.  Sandy has it on sale right now, too.

The little girl image is torn from the Heartwarming Vintage Seasonal Images Booklet.

I stamped the sentiment onto the kraft postcard I created from the Timeless Romance set.  The ribbons and roses are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I had the stick pins and pink wooden heart in my stash, but I did stamp on the wooden heart. I love pink with kraft…it makes for an instant vintage vibe.

The inside is simple…more stamping, a mini postcard from the Seasonal images journal and another little heart.  Room to write a love note, too.

That’s it for me today, friends.  Have you started making your Valentines yet?  I love a good excuse to play with hearts, flowers and little cupids!  How about you?  I would love to hear from you…it makes me happy right down to the tips of my crafty little fingers!

As I have gotten older, I find I’m a huge fan of pink! I love all the pink here today. Lots of interesting elements going on as well. Well done my friend!
