Arianna Blooms Mini Album

I created a mini album to share with you here today.  Lots and lots of photos to follow, and then the tutorial with complete supply list and detailed instructions.  So let’s get started!

HC Arianna Envelope Mini01aWhile cleaning out a supply drawer, I ran across a whole pile of A2 envelopes with tab closures on the side, instead of in the normal place.  I’ve never used them because of that, but thought they would make for a fun envelope style mini album.  And they did!  I simply mounted the face of each envelope onto a slightly larger piece of chipboard.  Now, photos can be mounted on the envelope, and tucked inside the envelope as well.  Before we look further, I just have to say how much fun it was to make the Arianna Blooms.  You can pinch pleat the petals, or add fancy centers, or glass beads…it can be shaped in soooo many different ways!  You are limited only by your own imagination.  And if you need some inspiration…be sure to visit the other designers listed in my side bar!

HC Arianna Envelope Mini02aThe front page does not have an envelope, but it does have a stamped/colored image and a sweet tag along with room for a photo.  I think this would make a great bridal shower book.

HC Arianna Envelope Mini03aThe envelope is on the left along with a hand written sentiment and room for a photo on the right.

HC Arianna Envelope Mini04aThis is a Majestic Morning bloom that sprouted in Arianna’s garden!  LOL  It is backed with lace elements from the Arianna Lace die.

HC Arianna Envelope Mini05aI love the polka dot paper in this collection…and the sweet bird haven stamp, too.

HC Arianna Envelope Mini06aMore yummy Arianna Blooms with artwork from the collection.

HC Arianna Envelope Mini07HC Arianna Envelope Mini08aI love the color palette of the paper collection…like  beautiful summer garden!

HC Arianna Envelope Mini09HC Arianna Envelope Mini10aThe mini is bound together with O rings and decorated with a combination of Cream Seam binding and White Delicate Stitched Satin ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I love these ribbons because I can custom color them to go with any project, and they are sooo easy to work with.

HC Arianna Envelope Mini12Thanks for stopping by!  I don’t know about you…but the Arianna Blooms collection makes me happy right down to the tips of my crafty little fingers!

Cheerio,

kathy

Kathy, this is fabulous. What a fun way to use the envelope. I have a HUGE stack of A7 envelopes that are just sitting in a container, and I really need to do something with them.
