Graphic 45 Midnight Masquerade Magical Masquerade Ball Invitation
Hello, Friends! Today I get to share one of the projects I made for CHA/Creativation back in January. For this Magical Masquerade Ball Invitation I combined Graphic 45’s mesmerizing new Midnight Masquerade collection with fabulous purple organza ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Ooh-la-la! Take a look at these fabulous colors and images! That purple ribbon just pops against the vibrant patterns in this collection. I topped the bow with gold metallic string and a fancy button from my stash. Let’s look at the details.
After fussy cutting the focal image, I rounded the skirt by gently burnishing it against the side of my bone folder. Once the paper curved, I glued just the very edge of the sides to my paper. Then I backed the center of the image with gorgeous Petaloo Purple hydrangeas. I also tucked these around the hem of the skirt, creating the illusion that this dancing lady is floating .
If you love to fussy cut, this collection will make you very, very happy! I fussy cut some of the Ventian masks to use as embellishments. Once again, I curved the edges to achieve dimension, then glued just the edges to the paper.
Welcome to the Ballroom at the Midnight Masquerade Ball
Now where are my dancing shoes?
