Majestic Morning Sunshine

Majestic Morning Sunshine

Good Morning, Friends!  Is it Wednesday already?  Time for another peek at this week’s Heartfelt Creations Wednesday project.  I have another bright and cheery card made with  the glorious Majestic Morning Collection.

I grew up in New England, and remember the long, dreary winters so well.  Seemingly endless days of freezing cold in a world of white made my heart yearn for spring and flowers and color!  Now that I live in North Carolina, I no longer have to endure the trials that winter brings.  When I watch the evening news and see snow piled high, sub-zero temperatures and winter’s wrath on display, my heart goes out to the folks who live there.  This Majestic Morning sunshine card is meant to bring a little preview of spring, a little color, and a reminder that winter will come to an end.

This 5″ x 7″ card is overflowing with Majestic Blooms! These flowers are so much fun to make, and can be shaped in a variety of way.  The paper collection is filled with wonderful tickets, tags and artwork that makes card creation a breeze.

I distressed the paper edges, added a few fun embellies and this card was done in a jiffy.

I carried the bright color theme onto the inside of the card where I added another bit of artwork and some stamped banner flags .  Instant sunshine!

Just working with these beautiful colors and flirty flowers lifted my spirits, and I hope it lifts yours as well.  You can find a complete supply list and detailed directions for making this card on the Heartfelt Creations blog. You’ll also find dozens of other inspiration pieces from the rest of the design team.  You can find links to their lovely blogs in my sidebar as well.  Thanks for taking the time to stop by the blog today.  Your visits and your comments make me happy right down to the tips of my crafty little fingers!

Yes my friend this BEAUTIFUL creation lifted my spirits and warmed my heart on this FREEZING ONE DEGREE day! Brrrr! Your flowers are gorgeous and I had to take a closer look to see if the design was a double pocket design or it was just the way you beautifully layered the flowers. GORGEOUS in every way!

Hi Kathy I love your card and the majestic range is so beautiful. I wanted to get the Raindrops and roses dies and stamps but they were sold out so I will have to wait. We have been so lucky in UK up to now this winter, rather wet and windy.but where I live is a bit protected by the Pennine hills. We have had quite a few days so springlike, I do hope I am not jinxing it by saying how lucky we have been up to now. X

Kathy…your card is so pretty. Love the bright cheery colors. The flowers really do make me yearn for the passing of winter and welcome the rebirth of spring. I enjoyed reading your recollections of your youth in New England. My husband is actually in NYC on business right now in the grip of this latest winter storm. Thankfully, he was able to rebook his cancelled today’s flight for tomorrow. Love your very happy card! It makes me smile. 🙂
