Good Wednesday morning, friends! Have you all recovered from the Thanksgiving holiday, Black Friday shopping and Christmas preparation over the weekend? It’s time for another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday, and today I have a Memories Are Forever Layout to share with you. This is made with the Floral Key paper collection and various dies from Heartfelt Creations.
This 12″ x 12″ layout was very quick to put together thanks to the framed layout page found in the Floral Key collection. No hassle figuring out where to place the photos, as the paper has done that work for you. I simply used a craft knife to evacuate the photo block from the paper. Then I cut out the inner portion of the block to create a frame. I added my photos to the back of the frame and matted it with a glittery teal cardstock. The edges of the paper were heavily distressed and then inked with Evergreen Bough Distress Ink. I used Spun Sugar, Aged Mahogany and Festive Berries Distress Ink and a water brush to color in the flowers and Evergreen Bough Distress Ink to color in the leaves. This pulled out the colors from the photos and made for a harmonious color palette.
These darling children belong to my friend, Anna. I asked her for permission to use these photos in this layout. I just love the expression on her little fella’s face. The tickets that are part of the cut apart pages make great embellishments, especially when they are matted with teal glittery cardstock and brown cardstock.
I added Prima Pearls and Lace and lots of beautiful Tattered Blossoms to dress up the layout.
The Burnished Key PreCut set makes such a nice accent piece.
Here you can see how I used my craft knife to cut around the flowers and leaves so that die cuts could be tucked into the layout. In real life, the layout has a lot of dimension and shine.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed this photo tour of my Memories are Forever Layout.
