Oh Happy Day! Baby Girl Card

Oh Happy Day!  Baby Girl Card for Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop

RRR Blog Hop BadgeHello, Friends!  It’s time for another fabulous Blog Hop with Really Reasonable Ribbon.  You should be coming here from the always stylish Dana’s blog.  If you get off track, hop on over to the RRR BLOG where you’ll find the Blog Hop List. This month we are featuring the gorgeous Aqua and Coral Mix in the April Ribbon Club Assortment.

April Ribbon ClubI always love the Ribbon Club Assortments, but this one is extra gorgeous.  I have used it on so many projects already.  If you are not a member of the RRR Ribbon Club, you can find out all about it HERE.  It’s just like Christmas every month when mine comes in the mail!

Some of you know that our 3rd granddaughter was born on March 31st.  Lydia Elise has already added so much joy and love to our lives.  I wanted to use these gorgeous ribbons to make a special “welcome to the world” baby girl card for her.

RRR Blog Hop April 2015 03I used every single ribbon in this month’s assortment on this pretty pastel card.  I created a pocket where I could tuck in my tags and an itty bitty photo of our itty bitty sweetheart.

RRR Blog Hop April 2015 01This is a 5″ x 5.5″ top fold card.  I used October Afternoon’s “Girl Talk” colllection , along with Stampin’ Up Pool Party Cardstock.  Here’s a peeky at the inside.

RRR Blog Hop April 2015 04Sweet and simple….the best things in life usually are!

Now you should hop on over and grab some inspiration from the amazing Cherry Nelson.  Once you’ve visited all the blogs on the hop, go to the RRR Blog and answer this month’s question to be entered for a chance to win your very own April Ribbon Collection!

Thanks for hopping by!

Hi Kathy. I am doing the RRR Blog Hop. I’m having fun. But I have already told you that I love what you did for your new granddaughter. I think it is absolutely fabulous. And so is she.

She’s totally adorable and what a beautiful name! It really suits her.
The card is a tribute both to the birth of your grandaughter, and to your wonderful artistic crafting abilities. You have a knack of being able to envision your hearts desire and relay it to your fingers. It’s one of those cards that instantly brings on an ‘Aaawwww’ moment.

I love the use of all those ribbons. It wasn’t until you said you’d used every one of the months selection that I realised you actually had! I had to sit and look really carefully to see them all! So clever, Kathy. A fusion of ribbons which don’t scream and shout, but instead become natural elements and in turn allows the focus of the card to be the main feature.
    A terrific card, Kathy!
Sending love and squidges to both you and your new munchkin ~ Cobs. x
