Pink and Green Floral Key Cards for Heartfelt Creations
Good Wednesday morning, my friends! We are now just one week away from Christmas Day. Are you ready? Are your stockings all hung by the chimney with care? Cookies baked? Cards mailed? Me, neither! LOL So today, I’m taking a break from Christmas cards and sharing a couple of pink and green Floral Key cards with you. You can find a complete supply list and detailed directions on the Heartfelt Creations blog along with oodles of gorgeous projects from the rest of the design team. So be sure to pop over and see what they have prepared for you today.
Wishing you a Quick Recovery
My first card made with papers from the Floral Key Collection is a Get Well card. When my husband was in the hospital, I realized how much it meant to receive a card from a friend. Every time you look at that card, you remember that someone is thinking of you, praying for you and sending you love.
The flowers were cut from a pink foil paper that I had in my stash, and while I was die cutting, I got out my Layered Scalloped Posy Die and cut it out of the same pink foil. I used these pieces in the corners.
The paper was so beautiful, it needed very little embellishing. I love this ornate wrought iron gate and I didn’t want to risk covering it up.
I used the sentiment stamp from the Script Aster Background PreCut Set . This was stamped directly onto the card front and then again onto pink cardstock, and then the two were combined as you see in the photo to make it all come together. Once I added the bow and rhinestones, the card was complete.
Thank you for Loving Me
The card is 7″ x 5″ and features a card front from the collection.
The heart was stamped onto white cardstock and then treated with UTEE, cracked and rubbed with green ink. I used Want 2 Scrap Nestabling around the outside of the heart.
I love the green tulle with the pink heart and flower.
If you enlarge the photos, you can see more of the details. And remember, a full supply list and step by step instructions can be found on the Heartfelt blog.
The inside of the card carries a hand written message and artwork from the paper collection. I think this could make a great Valentine, don’t you?
That’s it for me today, folks. I thank you for taking the time to stop by the blog. I love sharing my work with you, and I also love hearing your thoughts….it makes me happy right down to the tips of my crafty little fingers. Until next time…
