Welcome to another edition of Heartfelt Creations Wednesday, my friends! I am so excited to share today’s project with you as it features a gorgeous new release from Heartfelt Creations. I’ve used the precious new Sweet Lullaby papers, stamps and dies to make a Sweet Lullaby Collection Tag Mini Album that I think you are going to love. I have loads of pictures, and will add the tutorial at the bottom of this post. But first, let’s get acquainted with Sweet Lullaby:
Everybody loves a baby, that’s why we’re inviting you to fall in love with the Sweet Lullaby Collection. Preserve special moments spent with your little angel in this endearing baby and toddler themed assortment of papers, stamps and dies. Shades of sunshine yellow, rose- petal pink and baby blue are the perfect complement for delightful hand drawn images of napping infants and frolicking toddlers enjoying their favorite toys and activities. Six detailed stamp sets are ideal for creating cards, shower invitations, mini albums, scrapbook embellishments and more. Delicate dies allow you to create lacy baby booties, flowers and a stylish baby carriage. Everything about Sweet Lullaby is precious and adorable…just like your cherished little darlings!
Now, I have a lot of photos coming…so you might want to go get a cuppa and a snack before we get started. I’ll wait for you……Ready? And, we’re off!
This is the cover of my “mini” mini. I used the very versatile Luggage and Tags Die to create the cover and all the pages in this mini. It’s actually quite simple, as you’ll see in the directions that follow.
The stamps and papers in this collection are beyond adorable. Here, I’ve added a hand written sentiment along side the stamped bootie and one of the amazing Sweet Lullaby Sentiment stamp. This set allows you to stamp and die cut 12 sentiments and embellishments with one pass through your machine using the Once Upon a Time Die. That’s very handy!
I designed this mini to open up like a carousel:

So, what’s the first thing you would create with the adorable Sweet Lullaby collection? I don’t know about you, but this particular grouping of papers, dies and stamps really ignited my creativity.

Directions: Score an 8 1/2″ x 11″piece of white cardstock at 4 1/4″ on the short side. Fold and crease. Place the base of the large tag die on the fold so that the cutting edge is slightly off the paper. Die cut. You should have 2 tags with a crease in the middle. Repeat this process until you have 9 sets of tags total
Die cut 20 tags from the paper in the collection, making sure to use the same paper for the front and back cover of the mini album. Ink the edges with Old Paper DI, and set aside.
Die cut the booties and lacy flowers. Thread the booties with ribbon, add bows. Shape the flowers and glue together. Add a yellow button to the center. Die cut the tabs, tickets and tags from the paper collection using the coordinating dies from Luggage and Tag set. Ink the edges and use to decorate the pages of the mini. Use the bootie and Noah’s Ark stamp to decorate pages. Stamp the Sweet Lullaby sentiments onto white cardstock using Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink. Emboss with clear embossing powder, and then die cut and sponge with Worn Lipstick and/or Evergreen Bough DI as desired. You will use these to embellish your pages. Use a fine line black marker if you wish to write sentiments on your pages.
The mini is assembled as follows:
To bind the tags together:
Cut a 1 1/2″ x 2 3/8″ strip of paper to match your front and back cover papers. Score the short side at 1/2″ and again at 3/4″. Crease and then glue the folded tabs to the back of tag 1 and to the front of tag 9. These tabs will be covered when you complete the album. Now, decorate the pages as follows:
Decorate the front and middle pages of the first tag.
Decorate the middle pages of tags 2 through 8.
Decorate the middle and back pages of tag number 9. Decorate the back of tag nine with the same
paper used to decorate the front of page 1.
To bind the tags together:
Glue the blank back of tag 1 to the blank front of tag 2.
Glue the blank back of tag 2 to the blank front of tag 3, and so on until all nine tags are glued together. Do NOT glue the back of tag 9 to anything. Run ribbon through the tab hole on the front of the album, and tie a bow. Use a small clip to hold the album open for display.
