Time to Celebrate
Heartfelt Creations Wednesday
Hello, Friends! It’s time to celebrate with another edition of Heartfelt Creations Wednesday! Today’s card features this adorable vintage alarm clock stamp, some fun banners and glittery ribbon.
I stamped the alarm clock with the Alarm and Watch PreCut Set. I used Versamark ink and gold embossing powder to stamp the image onto green cardstock. I wanted to have a base that looked like aged metal. Then I went in and colored the clock with a silver metallic marker. It really does look like vintage metal, and adding Glossy Accents to the clock face makes it look like old glass. I have some other ideas I’d like to try with this great stamp, and I’d love to see how you use it, too!
I used the Once Upon a Time Die to cut out my stamped circle sentiment from the Time Sentiments PreCut Set. And since nothing says “Celebrate” like a trio of angled banners, I added those beneath my sentiment.
I used glittery copper ribbon on top of a strip of natural jute ribbon to add sparkle, texture and visual interest.
And here’s a peek at the inside of the card:
It’s so easy to finish the inside of a card when you have a pre-designed card front and a sentiment ticket already done for you in the paper collection.
