Time to Celebrate!

Time to Celebrate HC 04b

Time to Celebrate

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

Hello, Friends!  It’s time to celebrate with another edition of Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!  Today’s card features this adorable vintage alarm clock stamp, some fun banners and glittery ribbon.

Time to Celebrate HC 01

I stamped the alarm clock with the Alarm and Watch PreCut Set. I used Versamark ink and gold embossing powder to stamp the image onto green cardstock.  I wanted to have a base that looked like aged metal.  Then I went in and colored the clock with a silver metallic marker.  It really does look like vintage metal, and adding Glossy Accents to the clock face makes it look like old glass.  I have some other ideas I’d like to try with this great stamp, and I’d love to see how you use it, too!

Time to Celebrate HC 04

I used the Once Upon a Time Die to cut out my stamped circle sentiment from the Time Sentiments PreCut Set.  And since nothing says “Celebrate” like a trio of angled banners, I added those beneath my sentiment.

Time to Celebrate HC 03

I used glittery copper ribbon on top of a strip of natural jute ribbon to add sparkle, texture and visual interest.

And here’s a peek at the inside of the card:

So pretty! I know this is one of those cards that knocks your socks off when you can see it up close and personal vs through a photo. Great job!

Really pretty card, Kathy. You’re a girl after my own heart with this combination of browns and teals. 🙂 Love your design and the papers. The little alarm clock and the “celebrate” ribbon are such cute embellishments. I also love the interior of the card and those gorgeous paper flowers. <3 Candy
