Treasured Memories (Heartfelt Creations Wednesday)

Good morning to you!  It’s another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!  There are so many gorgeous new projects posted over on the Heartfelt Creations blog that I hope you will take a few minutes to head over there and take them all in.  My project this week is a beach themed pocket album that I’ve entitled “Treasured Memories.” Here’s a look:

001 (2) The album features wonderful papers, dies and stamps from the Balmy Breeze collection.  The album is hard bound, measures 4″ by 6″ and contains numerous pockets and tags.  The full tutorial and list of materials can be found on the Heartfelt Creations blog.  But I do have some photos and snippets of information to share with you here.  Remember, you can always click on the photo for a full sized image.

Here you can see the burlap binding.

Each page contains at least two pockets and features hand written or computer journaled sayings about the sea.

018 (2) Here’s the mini, all opened up, with all the tags tucked into place.  If you enjoy making minis…this is a great project.  It’s much easier to do than you might think…and all the directions can be found on today’s blog post.

020 (2) Some of my most treasured memories are connected to time spent on the beach, scavenging for shells, walking in the sand, soaking up the sun and playing in the waves.  These shells came from our beautiful North Carolina coastline.  I hope today’s post has served as a sort of mini vacation for you.  If you have any questions about this project, please ask…I’d love to help.

Thanks for stopping by for another edition of Heartfelt Creations Wednesday.and thanks for your kind comments…they make me happy right down to the tips of my crafty little fingers.  Until next time,

Cheerio,

kathy

Beautiful! It is the next best thing to being at the beach! This is probably my 2nd favorite — nothing is ever going to beat that RELAX beach banner that you made a few weeks ago. I’m still bummed I can’t buy that one! I would have such a hard time parting with this if I had made it (although it wouldn’t be as pretty if I had made it!) – I imagine you putting it in the shipping box and taking it out for one last look, and repeat! 🙂 Thanks for giving us all some beachy thoughts to start the day with – I can almost hear the ocean waves.

I am just blown away by your creativity! Beautiful (labor intensive) project! I would have a problem with giving up this one! I’d want that to be mine!
