Vintage Christmas Tart Tin Ornaments

Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!  I know everyone is probably as busy as I am today: baking, cleaning, preparing for company, last minute present wrapping. I love the anticipation of Christmas Eve!  This is my “baking day.”  I’ll be in the kitchen all day today, making batches of our favorite holiday cookies.  But before I get started on that, I wanted to share these cute vintage Christmas tart tin ornaments I made using images from Crafty Secrets Christmas Image and Journal Notes Booklet.  I love these sweet vintage images, and when I found these tart tins, I knew I had to make them as ornaments for our family tree.

I love the white tart tin against the green of the tree.  The lace and glitter are enhanced by the Christmas lights.  Makes me feel all warm and cozy and Christmassy on the inside. I made about a dozen of these using various images from the booklet.  In addition to the vintage Christmas tart tin Christmas ornaments, I made some little framed images.

Don’t you just love these sweet kewpie dolls?

I wish each and every one of you a very happy Christmas.  I pray you are filled with the joy, peace and love of the season….that you will take time amidst all the hustle and bustle to remember the greatest gift of love ever given…the gift of God’s son.  Just thinking about it makes me happy right down to the tips of my crafty little fingers.

Until next time…

Merry Christmas!

Kathy…your handcrafted tin tart ornaments are so adorable. They make for such a lovely tree, don’t they? Someday I hope to have a tree full of vintage looking ornaments that were all hand crafted. I think they would be a lovely keepsake someday. So happy that you had such a special Christmastime to reflect on all of the blessings we have in our lives….the most important being the PEOPLE that touch us so much. Thanks for being my friend. <3
