Hello, Friends!  I have been planning and designing this  Button Farm Club 2020 Year in a Box Kit for many months.  And today is release day!  Hooray!  Hooray!  I can’t wait to share all the details with you!

2020 Year in a Box: A Unique Memory Keeping System

Life is filled with all kinds of days: celebration days, happy days, ordinary days…days that you want to hold onto forever. Sometimes we want to make time stand still.  Well, I can’t do that for you, but I can supply you with the 2020 Year in a Box Calendar Kit.  This unique memory keeping system is designed to make it easy for you to hold on to all the happiest moments of 2020.

 

The 2020 Year in A Box Kit consists of a series of 12 folios: one for each month of the year, housed in a handsome and sturdy 8” x 8” storage box that you will be proud to display as part of your home décor.

Simple elegance was my goal for the storage box.  Neutral colors and timeless patterns were a must.  I finally decided on a classic grey, cream and tan colors and patterns that had a vintage farmhouse vibe.  This means the box will look great in any home.

2020 Year in a Box: The Monthly Folios

Each gatefold style folio measures 7” x 7” and has room for at least a dozen photographs of your favorite moments from each month of the year. You’ll find pockets with mini folios, a monthly calendar, tags and journaling spots, a blank panel where you can make lists of special events like birthdays, holidays or anniversaries, hidden pockets, pull out folios, meaningful sentiments and lovely vintage images tucked inside each month.  There’s even a monthly greeting card tucked inside that you can give, or use for journaling and small photos.

Because time is precious, I’ve designed the folios to be quick and easy to create.  When finished, store them inside the box for safekeeping.  Display a favorite photo or inspirational quote on the easel that tops the box lid.

Each quarter, I’ll change up the folio design so that you don’t get bored.  I’ll build in fun mechanisms to keep things interesting.  And those are skills that you can easily transfer into your other crafty adventures. It will be like taking a class with me each quarter!

2020 Year in A Box: What You Get

The first kit is massive.  You’ll get everything you need to create the home decor box and the first 3 folios for January, February and March.

You can buy the kits a la carte, or you can save money by subscribing for the whole year.

This is a quarterly subscription kit.  The first kit will come with all the supplies and instructions for the elegant box and the January, February and March folios.  We will release the folios for subsequent months once a quarter.  Here’s what comes in the first kit:

• (24) 12″ x 12″ Sheets of Authentique  Calendar Collection Paper
• (4) 12×12 Sheets of Authentique paper to cover the box
• (2) 12×12 sheets of Ivory Cardstock for matting and mechanisms

• Little Birdie Flowers, white
• 1 yard gingham ribbon
• Gold Metallic Number Packet
• Antique Bronze Bulldog Clip
• Full color, printed,  step by step tutorial

The price for the kit is only $54.00.  Laura has the subscription all set up in the Button Farm Club shop, so pop on over and get your name on the  list.  Although you can purchase each quarterly kit a la carte, you’ll enjoy significant savings when you subscribe.
