RRR August 2022 Blog Hop: Autumn Splendor Card
Hello, Friends! Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon August 2022 Blog Hop! You should be coming here from Gloria’s lovely blog. We’re getting ready for the beautiful colors of fall this month with the Autumn Ribbon Club Assortment. Take a look at this gorgeous group of ribbons.
Oh, how I love fall colors!
Autumn Splendor
Need an elegant and quick border for your Autumn cards? Try layering ribbons together with Scor-Tape in between. This cheery fall border features Kiwi Double Faced Satin paired up with Pumpkins and Sunflowers on white satin. Add a big poufy bow tied with cute Autumn Owls to punch up the fun factor of this festive fall card. A little burlap string accent adds the perfect rustic touch.
A Peek Inside
I’ve used my scraps from this lovely collection to create a little pocket and gift card wallet.
Tuck in an autumn tea bag for extra fall flavor.

Pretty Fall card inside and out. I like how you layered the ribbons.
So pretty! I love the fall colors! Awesome embellishment with these ribbons!
Those colors remind me of the fall Skyline drives we would take and spend the weekend at our cabin located in the Shenandoah Valley. Lovely colors and you have captured fall perfectly. And of course, you have created additional excitement with pumpkin tea – the perfect accompaniment to pumpkin pie. Yum! Too tired to bake one; hope the store has a pumpkin sweet…
Gorgeous papers and ribbons as usual! And now I need to try this tea! Looks YUMMY!
Kathy, what a beautiful Fall card! I am always in awe of how wonderful your layering effects are as well as your paper combinations. The flowers and ribbons are perfect and I love that button on top of that pretty doily. I’m so glad Autumn is on it’s way. Thank you for sharing! Hugs!
Love the various plaids you’ve used on this card, especially the softer orange. I do enjoy pumpkin images all year round. Oh! The first Pumpkin Spice beverage I’ve seen for this year…delicious! Love your touch of burlap string…I think I would have added a whole lot more…personal preference. Lovely card!
I recognize that button!
Beautiful Kathy. I too love the fall, the air is starting to get crisp yet still the warmth in the sunshine. All the pretty fall colours, some of the trees look like they are on fire! Thanks for sharing your amazing talents with us. Enjoy your weekend.
Sunflowers and pumpkins speak Fall to me -my favorite time of year – especially here in Michigan when we get the color changes – another lovely project Kathy – I always admire your work – and layouts – I wanted to say – in July I made a few folios- but I have not posted them to my blog yet, thanks for showing us your lovely art work – I might look at one of your Folio tutorials and follow along – going to check out the Fox one. – have a great week – blessings, Gail
The inside of the card is especially nice
