Hello, Ribbon Lovers! It’s time for a brand new challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon! The theme this time is “Orange You Glad It’s Autumn”. So grab some orange goodies from your stash and play along with us as we celebrate this gorgeous season! I love everything about fall, so it was pure joy for me to work up this Authentique Harvest Gratitude Album to share with you today.
You might like to watch this short YouTube video tour of the gratitude album. I share all the details and talk a little about the construction as well. Getting a feel for the flow of a mini album is always easier with a video tour.
Lots and Lots of Lovely Layers
Layered papers fill me with delight…but I also love to layer my bows! Using my Zutter Bow it All tool is like having a pair of helping hands when you are tying a double layer bow. You can add lots of texture by adding a simple looped string bow tied with Natural Burlap String. Take that bow cluster over the top by adding gorgeous Petaloo flowers. A mocha Botanica Bloom, Cream Vintage Velvet Cherry Blossom and Ivory Vintage Velvet Dogwood were “autumned up” with a few spritzes of Tattered Angels Jack o Lantern Glimmer Mist.
Be sure to stop by the RRR BLOG for more inspiration from the ribbon team, then share your own “orange you glad it’s autumn” design with us by linking up on the RRR Blog. I can’t wait to see what you make!
Thanks for stopping by!
