Hello, Friends!  I’m super excited about my May Kit Club over on the Button Farm Club.  With Father’s Day right around the corner, we took our crafting off the page and created an amazing Authentique Mister Desk Organizer for Dad!

These stacking drawers measure 16″ high (taller if you could the height of the easel topper).  Each chipboard drawer is neatly housed in the wooden frame.  Isn’t it handsome?

This easy to assemble 4” x 16” x 4 ¼” unit boasts a sturdy wood frame designed to fit with any home decor.

Four 3 ½” x 4” x 3 ½” drawers constructed from heavy weight chipboard are handsomely decorated with Authentique Paper’s Mister collection.

 

 

The The full color, step by step tutorial is loaded with clever techniques that you will be able to use in all your crafty adventures.  You will learn how to:

• Build the drawer unit
• Create a faux woodgrain finish
• Use packaging to build an easel style photo display unit on the top of the drawer
• Use product packaging to construct from scratch a 3.25” x 3.25” x 1 ½” hardcover mini album to tuck into one of the drawers

Each pocket style page holds two 3″ photo mats for family photos.  This album is the perfect size for Dad to keep on his desk, and it’s loaded with fun, interactive features.

• 8×8” Authentique Mister collection with 24 double sided papers
• (2) 12” x 12” sheets of Authentique Cobblestone Spectrum Cardstock

• Grey chalk paint
• 4 antique bronze drawer pulls

I’m super pleased with the way this kit turned out.  The pictures really don’t do it justice.  I’ll just tell you that before I had it finished, Mr. Clement had claimed it for his office desk.  He really liked it!  Hooray!
