Autumn Celebration Pocket Card with Photoplay Autumn Greetings
Hello, Friends! It’s amazing how a small gift like this Autumn Celebration Pocket Card can bring a big smile to the face of a friend. Cheery papers from Photoplay’s Autumn Greetings, fall embellishments and a few fall treats are the perfect way to add sunshine to anyone’s day.
This front pocket card design follows the same pattern as a Kangaroo Pocket card I designed earlier this year. You can find that tutorial HERE. Instead of adding a brag book to the pocket, I used it to house a little tea party in a box.
This is a great way to use up bits and bobs of a favorite paper collection!
It’s amazing what you can make with little scraps of designer paper, isn’t it?
A Peek Inside
Magnets placed beneath the designer papers keep the front flap from flopping around.
TIP: Tear the edges on small scraps of designer paper to add pretty borders to a entiment panel. Use a coordinating stamp set to dress it up even further.
Create a pocket in the center panel to hold a pretty gift card wallet.
Again, use small scraps of designer paper and stickers to dress up the inside. No one will ever guess!
This card is a great example of how you can adapt the kangaroo pocket card design for any occasion. I hope you’ll take another look at the original tutorial and then have fun using it to create a fabulous Autumn Celebration Pocket Card yourself.
You’ll find a linked supply list below the post.
Thanks for stopping by!

Kathy, what a gorgeous card for Fall! I do like these kangaroo pocket designs. That little cluster of Autumn embellishments is so perfect and I love the acorn of course. And what an incredible, beautiful job you do with scraps! Everything blends together so well! Of course all of the goodies that you add are the icing on the cake! Thank you for sharing! Hugs!

Just seeing this colorful fall project has brought a much needed smile to my face…thank you, Kathy! I wish that someone would send this to me…a fall pick-me-up would be much appreciated about now! LOVE that acorn and that colorful plaid is wonderful!!
Kathy – I do believe this has to be my favorite Fall card yet – you outdid yourself on this one – just perfect!!
Another fabulous Fall creation, Kathy. Having the pocket of goodies on the front lets the lovely inside elements be a delightful surprise when the card is opened. Hope to try something like this to decorate the Thanksgiving table for guest favors (glad we’re a small group!) tfs-stay well. Hugs.
