Baby Elephants Card for Really Reasonable Ribbon
Hello, Friends! Hope you are all having a great morning! Today, I’m sharing this totally adorable Baby Elephants Card made with Simple Stories “Hello, Baby” collection and fabulous Really Reasonable Ribbon. All together now, say “awwwwww!”
I just love this cheery Hot Pink Polka Dot Ribbon when combined with the soft pastels of the paper. It really “POPS” off the card. I topped it with one of my secret weapons: Iridescent White Metallic String. This string is soooo pretty, and I just love the way it picks up and reflects the colors around it. I sponged some Baby Pink Sweetheart Blossoms with a little Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and added them all around the card. The adorable baby elephants are kept in line with a piece of delicate White Sharon Crocheted Lace. The elephants pick up on the chevron and polka dot patterns in the paper and help to tie the whole card together. Besides, they are cute….and babies are cute….so they belong together, right?
This is a super quick and easy card that was kind of Plain Jane prior to the addition of the ribbons, trims and flowers. Now it’s ready for a baby shower! Ribbon really is magical that way!
Thanks for stopping by!
Cheerio,

Love the elephants. I have a new step-grandson and a new great-granson.(Don’t ask me to explain, just that I had my daughter when I was 16.) My great-grandson is about to have a first birthday and the elephants would be great. Where did you get them? Love the card and the hot pink ribbon by the way.
Kathy….this is just so darn cute! Beautiful ribbon coupled with adorable baby elephants is a win win!
Hugs,
Tracey
Awwwww! It’s adorable, Kathy! It would be great mounted for a wall hanging in the new baby’s room, too!
