Bless Our Nest Shaker Card with Simple Stories Spring Farmhouse
Hello, Friends! Happy Saturday! I thought I’d pop in quickly to share this Bless Our Nest Shaker Card made with Simple Stories Spring Farmhouse. If you’re in need of some springtime cheer, this collection is just what the doctor ordered. It’s just so happy!
This is a 5″ x 7″ top fold card with a little shaker frame on the front. Isn’t it darling? The shaker is filled with Lilac Lane Apricot Premium Sequins.
I’ve added a button to the center of the HOME chipboard piece, to add a little country charm. Bay Leaf Seam Binding Ribbon is the perfect color match for this collection. The flower is from Little Birdie, and you can find it at AC Moore.
There’s plenty of room inside to add a little note. You could even add a photo on the top half of the card to really personalize things. You can find another Spring Farmhouse Shaker card HERE.
This darling card is also available for purchase in my ETSY shop!
Hope you have a fabulous Saturday, with time to get crafty!

Great card, Kathy. Like the shaker element on this card…the country charm of this design give such a cozy feel, from buttons to bow. The little tag in the upper corner is my favorite special touch. tfs

This card really is darling! Love how the colors and designs work together. The little shaker element is a nice touch ♥️
I love your shaker cards. I think movement, whether it’s mechanical in the opening, or the shakers moving and making noise, really adds to the fun of opening a card. This is a really cute collection. Do you follow Katie Pertiet by any chance? She’s a designer for Simple Stories, and the Vintage Christmas in Simple Stories was her’s, this past fall/winter. Her blog freebies are awesome too! This is such sweet paper. Love all your shaker cards with this fresh spring line. Can’t wait for warm weather and flowers here. We had enough tease to pop the jonquils but back to winter.
Kathy, this is one of the cutest most cheerful cards ever! I love the way the papers are so different from each other but yet they blend! That pink plaid shaker frame just sets the whole design off perfectly. Of course your button accents are so sweet, especially the one over the “home” chipboard and the little bird nests are so cute! I am really liking that collection! Thank you for sharing. As always it’s such a joy to see your new project in my email. Hugs!
