Boo to You Halloween Banner

Boo to You Halloween Banner with Polly’s Paper Halloween Creativity Kit

Hello, Friends!  I’m in such a good mood today I can hardly stand myself!  I’ve just finished playing with a new creativity kit from Polly’s Paper Studio, and I am happy, happy, happy!  This Vintage Halloween Creativity Kit is loaded with adorable “too cute to spook” vintage Halloween images, double loop satin bows, great Halloween ephemera and fabulous Halloween papers.  I took one look and knew I had to work up a little Halloween banner.  Check it out!

Kathy by Design for Polly's Paper Studio EtsyI dug into my crafty stash and added Black Swiss Dot Satin Ribboncute pumpkin ribbonTangerine Diamond Stitched Satin Ribbon, Halloween brads and a bunch of Petaloo and Prima Flowers.

Pollys Halloween Creativity Kit Banner 03I think this little trick or treater is soooo cute, and I love the tickets and black measuring tape that come with the kit.  Papers were cut into flag banner shapes and stitched onto pearl black cardstock and backed with orange burlap. This little banner came together so fast I couldn’t believe it…only about 2 hours of crafting.

Pollys Halloween Creativity Kit Banner 04Look at the great expression on this little hobgoblin’s face!  I love the “Boo to You” flag sentiment (which inspired the title for this blog post) and the super adorbs little black tickets that come in the kit.

Pollys Halloween Creativity Kit Banner 06These cuties make me grin from ear to ear!  I fussy cut them from the kit and used foam tape to layer them over the Tim Holtz weathered clock die.  With an image this adorable, you don’t need to do much else.

Pollys Halloween Creativity Kit Banner 07One last look at the whole banner.  Wouldn’t this Halloween banner be super cute hanging in your house this fall?  You can purchase the Vintage Halloween Creativity Kit HERE.  Or, if you are short on time, you can purchase this banner ready made in my ETSY shop.

I’ll be back soon with more cute projects made with this fun kit.  I’ve barely scratched the surface!

I’m also linking this Boo to You Banner up over at the Frilly and Funkie “Stitch in Time Challenge.”

Thanks for stopping by!

Cheerio,

You have inspired me to try one of these! I have a new tool that cuts the banner shapes and it will come in handy! Can you say copy, copy? Just kidding! It is lovely though and again you have given me the fever!

I want to make this, but have too much too do before the wedding in October, decorations for the reception, decorations for the rehearsal dinner, dress to find, weight to loose and do some more walking and the list goes on and on!
This banner is so, so cute and I haven’t made anything new for Halloween in years! Just maybe I will be able to have the 17th of Oct, lol!

Very sweet banner, Kathy! I am a sucker for both Halloween and banners, but I’ve never thought to combine the two! Somewhere in my vast Halloween collection, I have these images on post cards a friend gave me! I adore these images, and this entire collection! What a brilliant idea you had to fashion it into a banner! You have inspired me to get back into the Closet and craft for Halloween! By the way each of these panels is more detailed than the next, and I can’t pick a favorite! 2 hours of crafting????What???!!!! My last 3 projects have taken a month! Big hugs!
