Carta Bella Farmhouse Market Tall and Skinny Card for the RRR Hop

Hello, Friends!  Today I have a Carta Bella Farmhouse Market Tall and Skinny Card for the Really Reasonable Ribbon March Blog Hop.  You should be coming here from Karen’s lovely blog.  We are showcasing the gorgeous Garden Delights Ribbon Club Assortment this month.  If you love spring flowers and gardening, these ribbons will make your heart happy!

Since I had just purchased these lovely Carta Bella Farmhouse Market papers, I decided to work with the coral toned ribbons from the collection.  They are a perfect match up for the saturated hues and floral patterns.

Ribbon can be used in so many different ways when you are designing a card.  Coral Rose Swiss Dot Satin Ribbon acts as a border along the base of this 4″ x 8 1/2″ cut away card.

The same ribbon  looks amazing tucked into the bow cluster with some cream flowers and iridescent metallic string.

Wrap the same iridescent metallic string around the top of the card to add a touch of shine.  Then top with some flat back pearls to add a bit of elegance.

Carta Bella Farmhouse Market Tall and Skinny Card: A Peek Inside

The inside of this card is pretty simple.  Add a sentiment from the ephemera pack.  Then make a quick and easy side pocket to hold a note card and a treat.

Mat the 4″ x 6″ journal card on cream cardstock so you can write a note on the back.  And you knew there had to be tea tucked in somewhere, didn’t you?

On With the Hop!

The next stop on your hop is Cherry’s lovely blog.   Hop on over to see what crafty goodness she has cooked up for you.  Then finish the hop over on the RRR Blog.  You will find a complete blog hop list there, as well as Bonnie’s Question of the Month.  Be sure to answer that, so your name will be entered into the drawing to win your very own Garden Delights Ribbon Club Assortment.

If you’re not already subscribed to the RRR Monthly Ribbon Club, now is a great time to join!  Getting that pack of ribbons in the mail each month is like celebrating your birthday all year long!   You can find out how to subscribe HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Cheerio,

This card has so many delightful elements that I can’t take them all in at the same time. My eyes travel from top to bottom as I spot each “ingredient.” The wood designer paper inside the card came as a real surprise! I like the flowers printed on the right side. Very interesting contrast to the card front. Nice project!.

Kathy, what a gorgeous card! I love the way you have mixed and matched those lovely papers. It kind of reminds me of a crazy quilt. Those papers all go together so beautifully. And those flowers and RR ribbons are just luscious! I really like the inside, rustic and beautiful all at once. I had a moratorium on buying more paper but I’m not going to be able to resist this collection! LOL Carta Bella is becoming a favorite. Thank you for sharing! Hugs!
