Authentique All Star Golf Card Folio for Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello, Friends!  This Authentique All Star Golf Card Folio is the perfect Father’s Day card.  I’ve paired it up with Apple Green Satin Ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon June Ribbon Club Assortment.

Many of you have told me that your struggle when it comes to making masculine cards.  So here are a few of my best tips:

• First, choose a solid masculine theme.  Golf works for both men and women.
• Next, choose a bolder color palette.  Pastel colors are not usually a good choice for masculine cards.
• Patterned papers should reflect masculine style.  Geometric patterns, plaids and solids are always a safe bet.  Take your cues from men’s ties.
• Use ribbon as a border as I did here.  Simply wrap the side of the card with ribbon and tie a simple square knot for an effective treatment.

It’s really not that hard, and I find I enjoy the cleaner, simpler design of most masculine cards.

Authentique All Star Golf Card Folio: A Peek Inside

Fancy fold cards provide a lot of real estate for adding pockets, decorative panels and photo panels.  Use the back side of this 3×4 journal card to mat a photo.  You can also tuck a gift card into the pocket.

Here’s a peek at the card folio fully opened.  The center panel is a pocket with a mini folio insert.  This is a great place to add photos.  The blank sentiment panel on the left is the perfect spot to write a special message or memory for Dad.
