Graphic 45 Blooming Beauty Box Card for the Really Reasonable Ribbon January Blog Hop
Hello, Friends! This Graphic 45 Blooming Beauty Box Card is my contribution to the RRR January Blog Hop! Your should be coming here from Karen’s lovely blog. If so, you are right on track. But if you got lost somewhere along the way, you can find the entire hop list over on the RRR blog.
This month’s ribbon club features pretty pink ribbons from The Sweetheart Assortment. These are great for Valentine’s Day projects, but I wanted to show how well they work with all occasion cards, too.
Blooming Beauty Box Card: A Posh Pocket for Posh Pink Ribbon
Pearl Pink Bold Satin Ribbon with a Grosgrain Edge is the perfect adornment for this 5″ x 7″ top fold card. it picks up on the lighter shades of pink in the Graphic 45 Bloom Collection and complements the rich, bold colors of the mulberry flowers. Plus, it ties gorgeous bows!
Top the bow cluster with some Iridescent White Metallic String, small flowers and a sweet little love charm to really make it special! Die cut an Eileen Hull Gift Card Pocket from the designer paper and add it to the cover design. It’s always fun to have a posh little pocket and tag combination on a card front.
Blooming Beauty Box Card: A Peek Inside
The inside of this card has a box pocket (find a tutorial HERE) and an ephemera card pocket for writing a greeting.
Use an Envelope Punch Board to create a little gift pocket, then tie it with more of the pretty ribbon. Would you like to see what is inside?
Here’s a mini honey dipper, a vintage demitasse spoon, small ephemera card, honey packet and tea bag. Now the card is a perfect Valentine, birthday card, or get well card for any tea lover.
