Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Welcome to the RRR November Blog Hop.  You should be coming here from Karen’s lovely blog.  Tis the Season to Deck the Halls and have a Holly Jolly Christmas!  I’m getting my Christmas spirit going with this super cute Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet Christmas Stocking Banner made with the Country Holiday Ribbon Club Collection.  These ribbons are soooo pretty!

christmas-stocking-banner-nutcracker-sweet-by-kathy-clement-for-rrr-product-by-graphic-45-photo-3I used a Stampin’ Up Steel Rule Die to cut out the stocking pieces.  After paper piecing the stocking parts together, I stitched them onto kraft cardstock, forming a pocket.

I think this Christmas Stocking Banner is fun and festive, and I hope you’ll give it a try!

Now go see what paper pretties Cherry has prepared for you.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete hop list on the  RRR Blog.  Be sure to comment on each blog, then answer Bonnie’s question of the month so your name can be entered into the drawing for a free November Country Holiday Ribbon Club Collection.

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas in July: Nutcracker Sweet Card

RRR Pink and Purple Challenge: Nutcracker Sweet Card

RRRChallengeBadgeHello, Ribbon Lovers!  Are you ready for a little Christmas in July?  Today is the start of the Really Reasonable Ribbon Pink and Purple Challenge.  And you know what?  This really was a challenge for me!  I had to search high and low in The Closet of Shame to find papers that would work for this theme.  Thankfully, I remembered that I had some Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet Christmas papers tucked away.  Problem solved!

Nutcracker Sweet Pink and Purple Card by Kathy Clement for Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge Product by RRR and Graphic 45 Photo 1This is the perfect little pocket card for your favorite ballerina princess.  In my household, that would be Miss Sophie Grace, my darling granddaughter.  She is a huge fan of The Nutcracker Suite, and I know she will swoon over this fun card.

Nutcracker Sweet Pink and Purple Card by Kathy Clement for Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge Product by RRR and Graphic 45 Photo 3I used 4 ribbons from the July Ribbon Club Assortment on this card: Hyacinth Lattice Print Satin, Hyacinth Delicate Stitched Satin, 3/8″ Hyacinth Diamond Satin, and a tiny snippet of 3/8″ Wildflower Grosgrain Ribbon. For extra texture, I added some Ivory Burlap string to the mix.

Pockets Stuffed with Nutcracker Sweet!

Now it’s your turn!  Create your own pink and purple themed project with ribbon or trim and upload it to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge BLOG.  We’ll be popping by to take a look at your fabby creations and will leave you some love, too!

Thanks for stopping by!  Now go get your craft on!
