Stamperia Alice Card Kit Reveal for The Button Farm Club

Hello, Friends!  I hope you all enjoyed a very Merry Christmas!  I’m popping in very quickly today to share my Stamperia Alice Card Kit Reveal for The Button Farm Club.

I know how hard it can be to get back into craft mode after the holidays.  So I designed a kit filled with whimsy, crafty skills that you will love adding to your tool belt, and a theme that we all seem to love.  What could be more fun than inviting Alice, The Mad Hatter, The White Rabbit, The Queen of Hearts and company into your crafty space this winter?

A Tea Party on Paper

This kit contains everything you need (besides normal crafting supplies like cutting tools and adhesives) to make 8 delightful projects with Stamperia Gold Alice paper collection.  This dynamic paper pad contains 22 single-sided, gold foiled, 12×12 patterned papers.  You’ll be making a fabulous exploding box, a lovely little lap book, 2 double easel cards, 2 kinetic waterfall cards, 1 tall and skinny shaker card, and the sweetest little fancy belly band card, too.

These all-occasion cards and folios  are perfect for Valentine’s Day, birthday, get well wishes, anniversaries or home décor.  While you play with these delightful papers, you’ll also pick up tricks, tips and new techniques that you can add to your crafty toolbox.

Stamperia Alice Tea Time Banner

Stamperia Alice Tea Time Banner

Hello, Friends!  I’m back with more Stamperia Alice!  I hope you are not tired of seeing these projects, because I can’t seem to stop playing with this collection!  This Stamperia Alice Tea Time Banner was a special order in my ETSY shop.  I’m not gonna lie: this one was hard to ship off to the customer.  It might just be my favorite banner creation of all time.

It’s a great, big, beautiful party banner measuring nearly 5 feet in length.  You can see the teacup I made to go with it sitting in the center of the banner.  Find more details about that HERE.

These are all hand cut banners.  No dies…just scissors and ruler and steady hands.  Each large pennant measures 5″ x 7″.  The little ATC tags between are from Graphic 45.  Turned on their heads (how fitting for an Alice banner, right?) they make lovely little pennants.

My dear friend Sara of sarascloset recently gifted me with some vintage silver spoons.  Two of them had bent handles.  Sara said, “I don’t know what on earth you will do with these.”  But I knew right away that I wanted to add them to a tea themed banner.  Now I wish I had a dozen of them in my stash!  Thank you so very much, Sara Emily!

The flowers are Little Birdie, of course.  Good news!  You can now buy these online from The Button Farm Club.  Laura has an amazing assortment at very good prices!  Happy dance!

Crochet doiiies and machine stitching add lovely vintage texture to each pennant in the banner.   And this collection is made for fussy cutting!

Here’s the other bent spoon.  This one was not as tarnished as the first.  Since I wanted it to match, I took it to the Mixed Media Day Spa and treated it with Stampendous Aged Silver Embossing Powder.  It worked like a charm!

This was such a fun project to make, and I loved the way it turned out.  I thought you might enjoy seeing it as well.

Wishing you a restful and happy Sunday!

Cheerio,

kathy

Stamperia Alice Eileen Hull Teacup

Stamperia Alice Eileen Hull Teacup Project Share

Hello, Friends!  Happy Friday!  I thought I would round out the week by sharing this Stamperia Alice Eileen Hull Teacup project with you all.  This was a special order in my Etsy shop, and it turned out so cute, I had to take photos so I would remember it.

The cup base is created from mat board using Eileen Hull’s Sizzix Teacup Die.  You may remember these Christmas teacups that I shared earlier this year.  Since I am a tea lover, it’s only natural that I would have this die in my stash.   And the die is a perfect match for my favorite Stamperia Alice collection.

Stamperia Alice Eileen Hull Teacup: Lost in the Details

I had such fun building this miniature scene on the teacup base.  All the teacup edges are embossed with Stampendous Frantage Aged Gold Embossing Powder.  The little ceramic mushroom and the flowers are both Stamperia products.  And the itty bitty teacup is one I picked up from a friend in an online sale.  Isn’t it darling?  Sherry/Ivory Plaid ribbon seemed like the perfect match for the Alice papers I used.

Sometimes I really get lost in the details of a project like this.  For instance, look at this tea tag.  It cracks me up with the sweet teapot charm and spoon.  I fussy cut those tiny letters from one of the collage pages in the collection.

Stamperia Alice Eileen Hull Teacup: What’s Inside?

I stuffed the teacup with everything one might need to host a tea party for one.  Some imported British Digestive Biscuits are wrapped in designer paper and topped with a fussy cut quote and flower.  A decorated honey stick will go perfectly with the English Breakfast teabag that is attached to the back of the Queen of Hearts Tag. And one must have a vintage silver plate spoon to stir one’s tea, don’t you agree?  Then a bit of chocolate for the perfect finish.

Designing custom orders like this one gives me such joy.  This is a perfect little gift…even if the recipient is yourself.  I’d love to make you one if you feel the need for tea time with Alice.  You can place a custom order request in my Etsy shop, and I’ll put you on the list.

Have a lovely weekend!

Cheerio,

kathy

Hello, Friends!  Happy Saturday!  I’m up on the Frilly and Funkie Saturday Showcase today, where I’m sharing this Stamperia Alice Etcetera Tag Tutorial.  You’ll want to pop on by to see the tips and details I’m sharing there. . This is a technique laden tutorial demonstrating how to:

  • Alter metal embellishments with paint and embossing powders.
  • Prepare a mixed media background using scraps of paper and Distress Mediums.
  • Use Distress Paint and Embossing Powders to create a cool textured border.
  • Create a double sided waterfall with vellum hinges.

I had such fun creating the front of this Mixed Media Etcetera Tag, that I decided to flip it over and create a waterfall feature on the back side.  So now this home decor item can also be used for photos.  how fun is that?
