Hello, Friends! I have had so much fun this month serving as a guest designer over at Cheery Lynn Designs. For my last Guest Designer project I used an amazing die to create an adorable Celebrate Fall Step Card.
Step cards usually require a ton of measuring and careful cutting and scoring and folding. But not this step card! I simply folded my paper in half, placed the Cheery Lynn Designs Step Card Bundle Set #3 die on the fold and ran it through my Big Shot. Wow! The die cuts and scores everything for you. All you have to do is fold on the creases and BAM! Instant step card. You can use the die to make center step cards. By adjusting the placement of the die, you can make all different kinds of step cards in just a few seconds.
Yeah, I’m in love!
See all those pretty fall leaves, flower blossoms and stems? They are part of the bundle! Die cut Wheat Heads and Tags 1 set complete the design. I can’t wait to make these with the grand girls!
I hope you all enjoy a safe, happy and sweet Halloween!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Kathy,
what a very super stepper card.
You are right these are so difficult to make without that lovely die.
You have decorated it perfectly and so unusual to see a fall design.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Hi kathy lovely fall colors gorgeous
I do love fall, with all it’s colours and the crisp air when it’s sunny out. The rain can just come at night, it tends to make my yard a mud pit. The card is amazing with all the fall colours and all your attention to detail is amazing as usual. 🙂 Love it.
Beautiful card! I love the fall papers!
I have a question for you….last week when you made your note card video, you had a small paper cutter that you used to trim with. Do you know where I could buy one of those paper cutters? I have a large one that I use, but this small one would be so handy right where a person is creating. I have one with the little orange blade piece but I am not so happy with that one as that little blade dulls in a hurry when cutting paper pieces and definitely when cutting card stock . Plus the little cutter pieces seem to be hard to find . Thanks for any help you can give me on this little paper cutter.
Corrine Ann, I picked that little cutter up at a yard sale several years ago, but I believe it was made by Creative Memories. If you can find a Creative Memories consultant near you, she/he might be able to help you get one. I have no idea if they even make them any more, but you are right..it is a very handy little tool. I bought mine used and the blade is still nice and sharp. If it gets a little dull, I cut sandpaper or aluminum foil on it, and the blade comes right back. I hope you find one! Thanks for the great question!
