Ciao Bella Winter Season Snowman Flip Album Tutorial for Wonderful Wednesday

Hello, Friends!  For today’s Wonderful Wednesday treat I have the cutest Ciao Bella Winter Season Snowman Flip Album Tutorial to share.  I don’t know about you, but I just love a chunky little mini album.  This petite 5″ x 4 1/2″ beauty is filled with lots of flips, flaps, pockets, photo mats and of course, a pop up page, too!

We’re now moving from straight on Christmas projects toward decor that we can leave up all winter long.  Snowmen are perfect for that.  Their happy faces always make me feel warm inside no matter what the temperatures might be outside!

Pockets and Flaps with the Heartfelt Creations Eyelet Frame Gateway Die

This Eyelet Frame Gateway Die has been getting a lot of use lately.  It was featured on our Drawbridge Shaker Cards last week.  And since I had it out on my work table, I decided to use it on this album’s shaker frame.  But, it makes a fabulous flip page, too!

TIP:  Width matters!  Although this eyelet die was too long for the page, the width was perfect.  The remedy?  Simply score a flap at the 4 1/4″ mark.  Fold the flap behind your 4 1/4″ page liner and adhere. The end result is a stylish tip in page.  Use the corresponding arch insert to cut patterned paper liners for the tip ins.

Since I’m still waiting for my hip replacement surgery, it’s difficult for me to stand for long periods of time.  But I did manage to stand up long enough to create a tutorial showing you how to make this super easy mini album base.  I hope you’ll enjoy it!
