Simple Stories Cozy Days Tea Party in a Box Folio for Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello, Friends!  This Simple Stories Cozy Days Tea Party in a Box Folio is all dressed up with ribbon, trims and fall flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Chipmunk Delicate Stitched Satin and Pink & Brown Twist Seam Binding Ribbon  pair well with Mixed Earth Tone Chrysanthemums and this cute paper collection. (Supplies linked below this post.)

Fall is the perfect time to cozy up with a cuppa and a good book, don’t you agree?  My hubby and I have been enjoying supper on the screened in porch because these autumn evenings are lovely…but fleeting. We’re trying to make the most of them so we enjoy the antics of the frisky squirrels and songbirds along with a tasty meal.  If we happen to sit out there until moonrise…well…that’s a real treat!

That’s what inspired me to create this woodland critter themed tea party in a box folio.  It gives me all the warm and happy feels that come with fall.  I hope you’ll enjoy it, too.

Cute Woodland Critters

Do these darling woodland critters make you smile?  This dapper raccoon is part of a slide and lock mechanism for the double gate fold on this flip page.

The mechanism slides up and down on between the gates, so it’s very fun to open.

More of Mr. Raccoon’s chums are hiding inside the gate…hoping for a bit of tea!

Flips, Flaps & Pockets

The center panel holds the tea party goodies while the side panels have various flip and flap mechanisms that make it fun to open.

And cute woodland creatures can be found frolicking everywhere!

The Box Pocket

And here’s the tea party they’ve all been waiting for!  You’ll find chocolate and a Pumpkin Spice teabag in the little envelope.  And there’s an adorable bookmark to hold your place while you refill your teacup.

Good books, good friends, and lots of time for crafty adventures are what make Autumn such a glorious season.

You’ll find a linked supply list below this post.

Thanks so much for stopping by, friend!

Cheerio,

This wonderful project tells a story from start to finish for any age group. There is so much to keep one looking further and discovering hidden treasure. Your amazing collection of spoons adds that something special too. Thanks for sharing Kathy.
We are on the move and I am missing arty time, reading your posts and watching your videos keeps the motivation happening for when we stop!

Love projects featuring woodland creatures…I think squirrels are my favorite theme, with raccoons a close 2nd…both mischievous little critters that supply us with countless inspirations. It’s only been in these last few months that I’ve begun to notice some rather inventive interactive elements. Your gatefold closure is sparking my interest. Nice project, Kathy!

Another beautiful Fall box folio – you amaze me with all your creations – just perfect!!!

This is a fun folio with the woodland creatures and fall colors. It doesn’t seem much like fall here in the deserts of Arizona as we are still hitting 100 degrees. It is finally cooling off at night and it’s cool enough in the morning to open windows and let fresh air in. Side effects from a new heart medication has made me feel terrible so I haven’t even been near my craft room. Thankfully, the doctor stopped the medication so I hope to feel better shortly. I want to create some Halloween cards for my grand kids and some cards for Thanksgiving. Thank you for continuing to inspire!
