Dame Pretty Pink Parisian Card

Dame Pretty Pink Parisian Card for Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Welcome to the RRR June 2018 Blog Hop!  You should be coming here from Karen’s lovely blog.  Today I have an Authentique Dame Pretty Pink Parisian Card to share with you.  It’s made with these gorgeous ribbons from the RRR June Ribbon Club Assortment.

Don’t you just love this Purple and Pink Ribbon Mix?  I’m seeing summer flowers here: Petunias,  Dahlias, Foxgloves, Impatiens….so pretty!

This is a 7.25″ x 5.25″ top fold card made with pretty papers from the Authentique Dame Collection.   Distressing, inking and machine stitching make this card feel like a find from an old French Flea Market.

The center image is  die cut from the paper collection and added to a vintage style metal brooch.  I’ve topped it with a clear cabochon.  This draws the eye to the focal image. The bold pink ribbons and flowers add life and color to the card design.  They also pull out the pops of pink that are part of the paper collection.

The gorgeous bow cluster is made with Shocking Pink Quatrefoil Satin Ribbon, Shocking Pink Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon, Gold Metallic String (not in the ribbon club assortment…but oh, so lovely!) and flowers from my stash.

I love the Eiffel Tower against that pink background, don’t you?  This 3″ x 4″ image is easily turned into a pocket.  First, punch a thumb hole in the left hand side of the card.   Then glue top, bottom and left hand sides to the base of your card.  Easy, peasy!

Kathy, these colors and patterned papers create such a lovely romantic-syle card. The various pieces of metal work add a special touch. Your card is a perfect show piece for this month’s RRR selections. tfs

Another amazing creation with detail to be envied. Never saw a honey stick but so cute and a nice ‘tuck in’ to transform the card to a gift. Another home run Kathy and another paper collection you’ve made me order..off to do that now 🙂

Kathy, what a gorgeous card! Everything about it is so chic! When you first show the beautiful ribbons, before I even look at your project I try to imagine how you will use them and every time it’s so beautiful and a surprise!
