Hello, Friends!  It’s time to share our December Time to Flourish Desk Folio Tutorial.  Can you believe that we are at the end of this year-long series featuring this gorgeous collection from Graphic 45? Time to Flourish has always been one of my favorites to work with, and the addition of Reneabouquets Beautiful Board and printed Beautiful Board has made it that much more true.

Here’s a look at this month’s folio.  I’m loving the traditional red and green color palette for this month, how about you?  Instead of poinsettias, I chose some deep red Little Birdie Flowers to accent the ribbons and papers. The gold and jeweled centers really amp up the holiday glitz and glam.

Like the previous 11 folios, this one has a hidden pocket folio built into the 6″ x 6″ easel card base. If you are new to this series, you can find MORE folios in the archives.  Or you can watch the video tutorials on my YouTube channel.

Here’s the tutorial for this month’s folio.

It’s a little sad to be at the end of this series, but all good things do come to an end. The good news is that 2023 is right around the corner, and I’m working up some ideas for a new series. If you have any collections or brands that you’d like to see in 2023, please let me know in the comment section below.  I’ll do my very best to incorporate some of  your suggestions in my planning.

UPDATE: There will be no Make & Take Tuesday or Throwback Thursday tutorials next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.  I have family coming in, a new grandson to enjoy, and a house to clean and pies to bake!

The Heartfelt Creations Alumni Hop is on Friday, so I’ll see you all then!  Until then, I wish you all a blessed, happy, gratitude-filled and delicious Thanksgiving!

There’s a linked supply list below this post.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cheerio,

kathy

Kathy, I can’t believe that this year is almost gone. You should know that the effort and talent you bring to this blog is so greatly appreciated. I can’t tell you how much I have looked forward every week to see your projects waiting in my email. I have so enjoyed every fabulous creation and the Time to Flourish collection has been a favorite of mine. This folio is one of the prettiest ever! You know how I love nostalgia and the little boy and girl on the front are perfect for an old fashioned Christmas theme. The inside of the folio is an absolute visual delight! So many elements to enjoy! Thank you again for bringing us your wonderful creations. I hope you and your family have a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving! So much to be thankful for! Hugs!

Ah Kathy what an extraordinary year of excitement, inspiration and beauty you have provided. You have opened my eyes to many techniques, paper and those lovely gnomes, which would have gone unappreciated by me except for your series. Although I have dearly loved the paper selections and particularly sad to see the Blue Fern Studios Yuletide Collection end, I know you have something more awaiting for next year that will provide us with yet another beautiful and magically inspiring upcoming year. Your Closet of Inspiration and Delight and you I am sure have already begun to conjure another wonderful array of projects. Have a blessed holiday season that is over flowing with love! I know you will enjoy your family and friends and share lots of love and happiness!

Thank you so much for this series! I have a small binder with pictures of all 12 months to remind me of this beautiful collection and the enjoyment I felt with each edition to this series… I too am sad because all good things must end. You do know it is going to be very difficult to top this series but if anyone can do it will be you! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Give Finn Michael a big hug from me!

I’m so glad I found you. My attitude toward making papercraft gifts has changed dramatically. I have made quite a few albums since I started watching. I had enough courage to make 4 small albums for guests coming this year for Thanksgiving. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for next year. Happy Thanksgiving.
