Eileen Hull Mitten Box for the RRR Blog Hop

Hello, Friends!  This Eileen Hull Mitten Box is my inspiration project for the RRR Blog Hop.  Welcome to the hop!  You should be coming here from Ginny’s fabulous blog.  The Really Reasonable Ribbon Team is featuring projects made with the very chic November Ribbon Club Assortment.

Can you hear the champagne corks popping?  This Holiday Elegance Assortment is fairly bursting with class.  But it works well on rustic projects, too!

Silver Metallic Star Satin Ribbon plays so well with the buffalo plaid check pattern on my Eileen Hull Mitten Box. The  stars on the ribbon echo the star focal in the box design.

Add a little Natural Burlap String to take this chic ribbon to the Christmas Countryside!

TIP: Create “faux snow” on your Christmas star with Ranger Grit Paste and a little glitter.

Fill up that mitten box with lots of goodies!  Gift card wallets, chocolate treats, a mini candy cane fill mine.  Add a little Christmas bookmark topped with more ribbons from the November Club assortment, and you’ve got a really sweet gift package on your  hands.  You can also set the mitten box out on display during the winter months.  It would be so cute filled up with peppermint candies or chocolate kisses!

On With the Hop

Now hop on over and see what paper pretties Cheryl has prepared to inspire and delight.  And don’t forget to finish up the hop by answering Bonnie’s question of the month over on the RRR Blog. That will enter you in a drawing for a free Ribbon Club Assortment.

If you’re not a Ribbon Club Member, it’s super easy to subscribe.  You can find out all about it HERE.  It’s a great way to build up your ribbon stash…and it’s like getting a Christmas present in the mail every month of the year.

You’ll find a linked supply list below this post. To find other projects made with the Eileen Hull Mitten Box Die, please click HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!

The RRR really is beautiful on your design. The mitten has caught my eye…… gotta create some cards with that die.

Wow! This mitten box is so festive and I can think of lots of people who would love to receive this gorgeous creation – complete with chocolate! (Me. I’m one of those people!!) Your work is exemplary. Thank you for sharing and showcasing Really Reasonable Ribbon’s…ribbon!

Did your son make the base? Of course I love your work it is gorgeous (smitten with the mitten) and I really like the fact it is more masculine. But if I am being honest, what I love most is the inside – I just want to dive in and get some of that chocolate! (Oh no; does this put me on Santa’s naughty list?)

Fabulous. Love the mitten shape and the buffalo plaid. I like how you were able to use these ribbons on a rustic project.

I do enjoy this rustic cabin look! The burlap string and, most especially, those rusty bells, really tell a great story. Buffalo plaid reminds me of flannel shirts and a crackling fire. Such holiday fun!
