elegant-santa-card-saint-nick-by-kathy-clement-for-really-reasonable-ribbon-product-by-graphic-45-photo-2Jingle all the way with this fabby Traditional Christmas plaid bow cluster!  It’s been topped with gold metallic string and some teeny tiny jingle bells that really ring!  I layered 3/8″ emerald checkerboard satin over Poppy Red Shimmer satin to create a beautiful border at the base of my card.  The Shimmer Satin has tiny flecks of gold that catch the light. It’s gorgeous!

So much creative effort has gone into this beautiful project! I don’t usually do this much decorating on the card interior. Each surface could be an individual card. Beautiful!

No time for the blog hop, but when I saw you had a Christmas card and you were using RRR, I just had to take a minute (or 20) to pop in! Love this traditional Christmas greeting and all the wonderful details you always pack in your creations! Big hugs!

Hi Kathy, OH! my what a wonderful Christmas card. just like the Santa’s from years gone by. I loved the decorations in the windows,in the stores, and the Christmas Santa’s with all the trimmings, in Cincinnati.. I hope they still do that. The snow would be falling, and the carols playing throughout the stores. a wonderful time of yr. and your card is a wonderful. thanks heaps.

Beautiful vintage Christmas card! I love the vintage Santa…..I have a collection of them and look forward to putting them out every Christmas, at least four weeks ahead of time. Your cards are always so pretty and well thought out. I love the Graphic 45 papers but have never purchased any of the Christmas ones. Guess I had better do that now!

Thanks for the memories of your childhood Christmas, Carol S. We enjoyed the simpler things of life and times and were perfectly happy! Thanks for sharing .

What a lovely card, Kathy! It reminds me so much of my childhood Christmas on our farm. We lived in a tiny house (6 of us) but we had a huge Christmas tree and a cardboard fireplace with electrically lighted logs where we hung our stockings. On Christmas Eve it was my honor as the oldest of 4 to read “The Night Before Christmas” to our family. The fireplace sounds so hinky as I write it, but it was one of my favorite things about Christmas and us kids would imagine how Santa could come down the chimneys in homes where there were real fireplaces. It was such a magical time and your exquisite creation here takes me back to that time. There are only 2 of us left in my family but the memories your card has invoked brings my parents and brothers to life and home again. Thanks so much for being such a special person, sharing your incredible talent for all to enjoy.
