Explore Card with Tag Mini: RRR Blog Hop

Authentique Explore Card with Tag Mini for RRR Blog Hop

RRR Blog Hop BadgeHello, Ribbon Lovers!  It’s time for another fabulous Blog Hop with Really Reasonable Ribbon!  I have a really fun Explore card with tag mini that I  made with Authentique papers and the RRR April Ribbon Club Assortment.

You should be filled with inspiration after visiting KAREN’S lovely blog.  If you are off track, head on over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon BLOG where you’ll find a complete list of all the designers participating in this challenge.  And here’s a look at the gorgeous Red and Turquoise Ribbon Club Collection:

RRR april 2016 ribbon club

Aren’t they scrumptious?  I had splurged on the new Authentique “Explore”  collection and was thrilled to find that these ribbons played really well with those papers.  Take a look:

Authentique Explore Card with mini tag album 01The ribbons add a wonderful freshness to these vintage papers.  And I had a happy playtime fussy cutting and layering pretty papers onto this 7″ x 5″ top fold card.

Authentique Explore Card with mini tag album 02I created a belly band by sandwiching Red & Turquoise Diamond Print grosgrain ribbon between two rows of 3/8″ scarlet diamond satin ribbon.  I was thrilled to find that my favorite houndstooth ribbon now comes in RED!  This ribbon ties like a dream, and looks wonderful layered up with that diamond print, dontcha think?  I picked up on the color palette by adding some pretty Petaloo velvet lilacs and sugared blossoms down the side.

Authentique Explore Card with mini tag album 03I created a little tag album on the inside and bound it together with  a ribbon adorned O ring.  This would make a great graduation gift, as there’s room for photos and journaling inside this explore card.  It’s a fun surprise to open the card and find a “mini” mini inside!

Now hop on over and see what sweet wonders LESLIE has prepared for you.  She always has something clever up her sleeve.  Be sure to finish up at the RRR BLOG and answer Bonnie’s question of the month so you can be eligible to win your very own April Ribbon Club Collection.

And if you haven’t signed up for the monthly ribbon club yet, it sure would make a great Mother’s Day gift!  You can drop a hint or two and maybe the message will get through!

Thanks for hopping by!

Don’t you just love it when you invest in something new and then realize you already own items that will coordinate with your purchase? I love happy accidents like that. I just adore this card! The colors, the layering and of course the ribbon. tfs

I love anything with this color combination and that new houndstooth ribbon in red is great. Thanks for sharing with us as I know you’ve had a serious time crunch with the move. You are so sweet to take the time to reply to all of us. Thanks for being such a special lady.
