Garden Green Pocket Card for RRR Show Me the Green Challenge
Hello, Ribbon Lovers! It’s March and Springtime is on its way! This is the season when gardeners get serious about spring planting. This Garden Green Pocket Card with Carta Bella Homegrown papers reflects that fact. It’s just right for the “Show Me the Green” challenge over at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Oh, yes! Bring on the green, and growing things, and sun ripened tomatoes! I’m so ready! And who doesn’t love a good pun? I amped up the power of green with a bodacious bow tied with soft and silky Forest Green Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon. Then I topped it off with a fun 1/4″ wide Emerald Green Chevron Striped Twill Bow. A Petaloo Pistachio Anemone is the crowning touch for this bow cluster.
I created a fun cutaway edge for this 5×7 side fold card then topped it with a journal card from the Homegrown collection. A fun paper clip embellie and square green buttons give the card a playful feel.
Here’s the inside of the card.
This thank you tag is just the right size to serve as a chocolate pocket. Banner flags cut from scraps lend a festive feel. And what do I spy with my little eye? Is that a second pocket?
Indeed, it is! And there’s a cute little tag tucked in there. I topped it off with more of the chevron twill and my very last snippet of Tangerine Honeycomb Print Satin ribbon. from the March Ribbon Club Assortment.
To keep with the garden green theme, I added this fun photo of a farm wagon to the right hand side of the card.
I hope you’ll come join the fun at the Really Reasonable Ribbon “Show Me the Green” challenge!
Thanks for stopping by!
Cheerio,
kathy
