Garden Themed Mother Goose Shaker Top Folio

Garden Themed Mother Goose Shaker Top Folio for Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  How does your garden grow? Summer is in full bloom here in North Carolina.  My darling husband decided he wanted to do a little gardening this summer, so we’ve been anxiously waiting to pick our very own home grown heirloom tomatoes.  This gardening project inspired me to create a super cute Garden Themed Mother Goose Shaker Top Folio using Graphic 45’s Mother Goose and Home Sweet Home Collections.

This is a 7″ x 5″ side fold folio.  Don’y you just love the way this Capri Blue Taffeta Ribbon pops against the primary colors of the Mother Goose Collection?   Taffeta ribbon ties the most beautiful bows!  And I love the touch of Natural Burlap String in the bow cluster, too.

Red Sweetheart Blossoms look so darling mixed in with my handmade flowers.

On the inside of this folio, I’ve used papers from both Mother Goose and Home Sweet Home.  You wouldn’t think that they’d work so well together, but I think they look great.

I love the exuberant colors here, so cheerful. Add in the shaker element and this is a must make. Thank you for sharing. By the way, your technique of spritzing paper with water before shaping is a game changer.

More fabulous work Kathy – leaving my comment and now off to watch the video – I love that huge flower and of course just everything! I am coming to craft! LOL – I know one-woman space – love your work and ideas – you do lovely work

This folio is delightful. Like how you combined the two product sets for a well blended garden theme. Your videos are always so helpful. Every time I watch one I learn another technique or refine one already learned. Your gift for turning all of those scraps into such clever pieces is amazing. My new question as I look at all the bits and pieces on my crafting table–“What would Kathy do with this?” 🙂 As always, tfs

So cute Kathy. Mother goose is one of my favs as well. I would have never thought of putting Home sweet home as a companion. Wish they would re-release mother goose don’t think I have much left
