Graphic 45 December Flower Market Folio Tutorial with G45 Warm Wishes

Hello, Friends!  I’m excited to share this Graphic 45 December Flower Market Tutorial with you for several different reasons.  First, it turned out to be the prettiest month of all.  Then, it’s December so I added some extra “bells and whistles” to provide more room for photos.  And finally, this tutorial completes this year-long monthly folio series.  What a year!  For those of you have stuck with this series from beginning to end, I salute you!  Once you complete this folio, you’ll have a gorgeous stack of floral themed folios to enjoy for years to come.

Our “guest star” paper collection for this month is Graphic 45 Warm Wishes.  Wait until you see how beautifully these two paper collections compliment one another.

The deeper tones of Warm Wishes provide depth and contrast to the lighter colored Flower Market pages.  Many of you will have this beautiful collection in your stash.  But if you don’t just use whatever you have on hand and it will be beautiful.

You’ll find even more room for photos and more interactive pages, like this gatefold feature, built into the folio this month.

A Peek Inside

 

There is so much room for journaling and memory keeping in this month’s folio.  We follow the same basic format as in the previous months but added more special tags, mini folios and flaps so you can capture those special  holiday moments.

We also do a lot of simple layering techniques to build in a sense of depth and dimension without adding bulk.

Christmas cardinals and poinsettias are wonderful playmates!

Room for Large Photos

This lateral waterfall page is probably my favorite.  I love the way you lift the top flap, then the magnetic belt to reveal the large photo mats tucked inside.

And the colors are gorgeous together!

Here’s the center pocket dressed up with a sweet doily from Annette Green’s dies, a word border and postage stamp.
