Graphic 45 Deck the Halls Christmas Tea Party Tags Tutorial for Wonderful Wednesday
Hello, Friends! It’s another Wonderful Wednesday and I have the cutest Graphic 45 Deck the Halls Christmas Tea Party Tags Tutorial to share with you. These are perfect little last minute gifts for friends and family. Need a table favor? They are great for that, too! Stocking Stuffers? Yep. They also make great hostess gifts! Craft up a basket full of these beauties and you’ll be all set for the holidays!
Tags, Tags, Tags
First, create your tag base with Graphic 45 Square tags. I still have pretty good stash of the laser cut square tags left from my years on the G45 design team. Dry brush both sides with creamy white chalk paint to mimic the feel of snow.
Next, pull out some G45 Regular Tags to create the card front. Use the Regular Tag Dies to cut liners for the front and back of each tag.
Filled with Sweet Surprises
Now build a box pocket for the back of the tag and fill it up with sweet surprises.
Dress up a sweet little ATC Tag with patterned papers and images from the 8×8 pad.
And don’t forget to decorate both sides!
Score a 4″ wide scrap of patterned paper to provide a little hidden note spot. These are so cute!

Oh Kathy these tag boxes are so lovely and full of interesting items and so so suitable for celebrations. The papers of course do the boxes justice. Love those thread tassels, all the colours and textures. There are boxes of threads somewhere and I need to find where I unpacked and stashed them, they can be put to better use in the art space! The vintage teaspoon is a stunner too. I am looking forward to the flow of Christmas creations from your studio, so far everything needs to be seen at least twice. Well that is my excuse for extra arty time…..
Oh my gosh, Kathy. I love these!!! They are so stuffed with great ideas my eyes don’t know where to look first. I always think I will make something similar for Christmas and send one to everybody. But then it becomes challenging to finish them all (for me anyway). I stepped away from my craft room in late May so I could embark on a different journey: Finding the love of my life. Yes, I broke the door off my craft room and escaped. So far, I have found great guys where it didn’t go anywhere, one guy where it was exciting (we fell for each other) but short-lived cuz he’s an “avoidant” (still getting over that heartbreak) and others that either made me feel ancient (they were too young) or made me feel sexy and vibrant (they were too old). It’s a crap shoot out there. But I have not lost hope. One of these days, I will create again. With so much inspiration from you, how could I not? Thanks!
These Tea Party Tags are so cute! Thank you for the tutorial-I hope to get some of these made. Your creativity is off the charts!!
