Graphic 45 June Time to Flourish Folio Tutorial for Throwback Thursday
Hello, Friends! Believe it or not, it’s almost time to turn the calendar, so we need to share our Graphic 45 June Time to Flourish Folio Tutorial for this week’s Throwback Thursday post. Summer comes into its own during the month of June. Songbirds are teaching their young to fly, butterflies flit about in the garden and the air is heady with the scent of roses. What a beautiful month! I think you’re going to really enjoy making this month’s folio!
We are following our basic folio design, and dressing things up with lovely elements from the Reneabouquets shop. These Dusty Blue Roses are the perfect accent for the blues and pinks in this month’s papers. A small April in Paris Doily creates a lovely spot to tuck in a wee bird nest. I’ll show you how to make it in the video tutorial! And do you spy that gorgeous blue butterfly? Yummy!
Hidden Pocket Folio
Of course, we have a hidden pocket beneath the card base. This holds a lovely 5 1/2″ mini folio.
It’s kind of amazing how much you can fit into this small space.
I did change things up just a tad this month so that we don’t get bored with the design. You’ll see all the details in the video below.
A Peek Inside
The interior pocket doubles as a brake for the easel mechanism.
This gives us room to tuck in more small photo folios, which is always a good idea.

Yes indeed, my friend, your battery has been recharged and what a stunning folio to prove it!!!! I always LOVE all the “extras” that you include – just gorgeous and thank you for sharing!!!
Oh you had my heart with that little bird nest!! I love them so much and have used them in my own art over and over again. I am currently looking for a large, real one to use on a wreath that I want to make for my door, but every one I have found so far, is occupied right now 🙂 I love to make the little clay eggs and paint them to put in them, so thank you for sharing that with everyone.
This is really gorgeous and so perfect for a folio. Every detail is exquisite~
Thank you so much for the tutorial! What a beautiful folio!
