Graphic 45 Love Notes Shaker Card for the Really Reasonable Ribbon March Blog Hop
Hello, Ribbon Lovers! Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon March Blog Hop. You should be coming here filled with inspiration after visiting Karen’s lovely blog. Today I have a Graphic 45 Love Notes Shaker Card adorned with classically elegant ribbons from the RRR March Ribbon Club Assortment.
The ribbons in this assortment seem to have been put together with these gorgeous papers in mind. Layer Charcoal Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon with Crochet Lace and 3/8″ Red Satin Mini Swiss Dots Ribbon for a dramatic border treatment.
Charcoal Checkerboard Satin Ribbon and Silver Metallic String make beautiful music together with this cluster of Little Birdie Flowers from AC Moore.
The shaker frame element is created with an altered Tim Holtz Vignette Frame.
Graphic 45 Love Notes Shaker Card: A Peek Inside
Since I was working with mostly scraps of this collection, I kept the inside simple. Adhere the small sentiment card on sides and bottom to create a quick gift card holder. Then you still have lots of room to write your own personal message.

Your shaker cards are so gorgeous!!!! This with those gorgeous blossoms and ribbon clusters around the frame is beautiful!
Kathy, this card is so special for me…I love music–I think heaven will be unending music! (just my opinion, of course!) This month’s ribbons are such a stunning combination of colors, just made for crafting as your card shows so well. I always enjoy seeing what you and the others design with each month’s ribbons. tfs
So, when I first looked at your card It is just pure beauty! Its like a confection of birthday cake and
ice cream and frosting with sprinkles! So much to see and enjoy and savour! Then the inside of the card is so beautiful it could easily be the front of a card as well! The little pocket is such a treat inside! I am totally going to try that on my next card. You are right, those ribbons seem to have been put together specially for that collection of papers!
Thank you so much for sharing your work! 🙂
Oh beautiful! I have the collection and have not dared cut it yet!
I wanted to “like” each of the comments above, as they are all so correct! This is truly a beautiful paper collection, but you also know how to use it well, and make beautiful things with it. Love the shakers, as you know!
Love this collection and what you created with it. You really tied it all together well.
Lovely embellishments on your gorgeous shaker card! Love the colors and the pretty ribbon!
This ribbon collection does match Love Notes perfectly. You’ve made a beautiful card. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful–love the music theme, flowers and of course the ribbon.
Kathy, I was so happy to see TWO of your projects in my email this morning. Got my coffee and sat down for a real treat. This folio is just stunning. What an incredible gift this would be for a music teacher or a musician! That RRR is just gorgeous. The Little Birdie flowers are so beautiful, I really love the different textures. And how cute are those shaker elements with the little music notes? Thank you for sharing this beautiful card! BTW you can do more with “scraps” than I can do with whole sheets of paper. LOL Hugs!
ohh my Kathy this card is stunning….I love the treatment you used on the flowers. and the beautiful colors and the verses inside…..im going to be in trouble…lol I need this paper
Is there anything you can’t do?? Seriously, this card is purely amazing…down to your ribbon roses. Just fabulous!
