Halloween in Wonderland Altered Altoids Tin:Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Guest Designer
Hello, Friends! I’m tickled pink to be back as Guest Designer for Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts. Sometimes, my pack rat tendencies are a good thing…as you will see in today’s project. I think this Halloween in Wonderland Altered Altoids Tin is stinkin’ cute!
Honestly, every time I look at this little critter, I start grinning like the Cheshire Cat! It’s a wonderful kit that will be coming to the Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts shop soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
The kit comes with 4 ATC sized frames that fit neatly inside the tin. I used one of the Scalloped Altoids inserts on the front of my tin. Tiny Alice Props (also coming soon) have been altered with Distress Paint and used to embellish the front of the tin.
I used Prima Rust Paste to create a really rusty tin. Because I wanted it to look even older, I tapped it a few time with my hammer to create extra dings and dents.
Petaloo flowers and custom dyed seam binding ribbon look great with the chippies and G45 Halloween in Wonderland papers.
But wait! There’s more fun on the inside of the tin!
After painting the chipboard inserts with black paint, I added a little detail with my white Sharpie pen.
Better add Altoid tins to the list of things that get stuffed into the Closet of Shame!
Thanks for stopping by!
I have a whole slew of Altoid tins just crying out to be altered, and what better combo than Halloween and Alice! Love all the texture and the spookalicious design!
Oh,vnow that is beyond spookalicious, Kathy. How fun! I love this collection and have hoarded it for a long time. This looks like a great way to use some of my treasures!
Hugs,
Kris
Wow, Kathy, I love this. It turned out really cool!
Oh, Kathy, I adore your Halloween altered tin! I have quite a few of these stashed away, so I’ve bookmarked the shop to come back to! Love these Halloween chippies, especially the cat in the tree! You’ve done them proud, my dear! It’s been such a long time since I’ve visited–my loss and my apologies to you! I need to get on some sort of a schedule, as the past month, at least has been so topsy turvy, and there seems to be no end in sight for the craziness! Much love and hugs to you!
Such fabulous detail in such a tiny space! I LOVE the outside and the cards inside. WONDERDUL!!!
Really great job Kathy. I have a few tins around here to try something with, but no where near the “stuff” you have there to create something even close to this masterpiece! I love the papers in this collection. Love the tin!
You really do know how to,show those papers off to perfection. Yet another stunning creation, as always. Tracy x
