Hello, Friends! I’ve been having the BEST time playing with my Graphic 45 Saint Nicholas papers and my Really Reasonable Ribbon October Ribbon Club Assortment. The Traditional Christmas Mix Ribbons are such great playmates for these pretty papers! Just look how well they pair up in this Happy Holly Days Card.
Doesn’t this Red Bold Check Ribbon look fabulous? I topped it with a Poinsettia Berry pick from Petaloo.
Tying a big poufy bow like this is not as hard as you might think. I rely heavily on my Zutter Bow it All Tool.
Adding a little Natural Jute String bow to the mix adds to the vintage feel of the card. Would you like to take a peek inside?
A tiny pocket is the perfect place to tuck in a miniature Ghiradelli chocolate. (There’s room for 2!)
Have you started creating your Christmas cards yet? I have a few, but no where near enough, so I’d best say goodbye for now and go get busy making more!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
what a very super Christmas card, and I love your very super design of this.
Such a very gorgeous Poinsettia and and arrangement alos.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Hi Kathy, beautiful card, the ribbons are gorgeous especially when you give them the star treatment. Love the mixture of card and colours. So how come if the inside pocket holds 2chocolates, I can only see 1. I wonder where the other one went.!!! Hugs xx
Hi Kathy, a lovely Christmas cheer. well done. I love the colors and the country ribbon. …hugs
Another lovely detailed art piece. Although I really am in denial that Christmas is in fact around the corner. Love the card Kathy, love it.
So beautiful and I love the design.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this card Kathy. The colours, tones papers, layers, additions, ribbons, embellishments, the pocket inside the card, the way you’ve set the layers, and even the corners on the card. EVERY SINGLE THING I love. There’s nothing I can see that I’d change or move or do differently.
Aww… just amazing Kathy. (You and the card!)
Sending love ~ Cobs. x
