Carta Bella Spring Market Hello Spring Shaker Card Folio for the RRR Blog Hop
Hello Friends! Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon February Blog Hop. You should be coming here from Karen’s lovely blog. Today I have a cheery Hello Spring Shaker Card Folio adorned with gloriously green ribbons from the February Ribbon Club to share with you.
This is a 6″ x 6″ top fold card made with Carta Bella’s Spring Market Paper Collection. Adorned with Kiwi Satin with a Grosgrain Edge and 3/8″ Kiwi Satin Swiss Dots Ribbons, it gives me hope that spring is coming!
I’ve tucked this mini tag album inside the dimensional pocket on the front of this card. It’s dressed up with ivory burlap string, a snippet of Kiwi Satin Swiss Dots ribbon and some darling bee charms.
Hello Spring Shaker Card Folio: A Peek Inside
Ribbon takes center stage inside the card as well. I love to use ribbon to create a border on a card, so wrapped 5/8″ Apple Diamond Satin Ribbon to my flap page and tied a simple square knot to hold it in place.
Behind the flap, I’ve tucked a little tag inside the diamond satin ribbon. A shallow pocket holds a cute tea bag wallet.
Even a ribbon scrap finds its way onto the honey stick, then topped it with a rose blossom button.
I tied an itty bitty bow with help from my Zutter Bow it All Tool, then added in the corner of this cute gift card wallet.

Loved how you paired up the fresh green ribbons with this and added the pink sequins as if they were the flowers!! Oh Kathy! WOW…even the tea matches! LOVE this line of papers and you have absolutely channeled how and why they all go together with your most excellent card design…it was made for you. You should be designing your own line with them hint hint! Stunning make…I’m sharing it with a friend.
Ok, now I know for sure I need this Carta Bella paper. Can you tell me what size pieces you used Kathy? 12×12 or smaller, any extra accessories for this one? You’ve given me so many ideas for my sister’s BD, but this matches her to a T. I think putting in a real seed package would be a good idea too. Thanks!
