Hug in a Cup Tea Themed Card Folio with Authentique Gracious
Hello, Friends! How about a hug in a cup this Monday morning? I have the sweetest tea themed card folio made with Authentique Gracious to share with you this morning.
This little 5″ x 5 1/2″ tea themed card folio is made with scraps from other Gracious projects I’ve been making this fall. I have to tell you…I am in love with this collection. It is so warm and nostalgic that I can’t seem to stop playing with it! This resulted in a lovely little stack of off cuts, extra doilies, die cut teacups and bits and pieces that were begging to be put to good use. So, I did!
You all know how much I love my tea, so I decided to make one more tea themed card folio with the lovely vintage teapots and teacups pattern from the collection. Stamped sentiments come from a lovely Penny Black tea stamp set that I will link below in the supply list.
Hug in a Cup Tea Themed Card Folio: Double Z Fold Card
Would you like me to do a tutorial for the double z fold card base? Wish granted! You’ll find a project tour with tips and tricks as well as a video tutorial below. It’s such a fun way to make a card. It just opens and opens and opens again, giving you lots of room to add paper pretties.
This is what the inside of the card looks like when fully opened. The center pocket holds a little tea bag and blank card where you can add your own personal greeting.
But the really fun thing about this folio design is that the back side is also fully decorated. How fun would it be to set this card out on your fall mantel, or even your Thanksgiving table?

You can see why I love this collection so much. The rich autumn hues and vintage images are just dreamy. And this card design is a great way to turn scraps into a gorgeous project!
I hope I’ve shared some tips, tricks and ideas that you can use in your own crafty adventures. If so, I’d love to hear from you in the comment section below. You’ll find a linked supply list below this post. And to see more Gracious Projects, Click HERE.

Beautiful tea themed z fold card, Kathy! I love that cover with the stamped tea cup and all those gorgeous fall details. I only have a minute to look at the pretty photos this morning, and I had to have a peek at your video, too, to see how this all came together. I will be having a serious visit with my coffee, hopefully tomorrow morning. Sending hugs! PS What happened to fall while I was away?
Lovely card Kathy. Tea on a cold brisk day sounds pretty good uh. Along with shortbread cookies! Yummy.
Hi Kathy. I’m really loving that cover with the brown and the cream!!!
This tea folio is darling. I’m always looking for tea themed things I can make. Love all the pages that can be decorated up! I’m going to go watch your video and know I’ll save it so I can make this cute folio. I love how you linked to your supplies.. I WANT that tea stamp set! I found a cute tea cup die somewhere, which I have been wanting to use. Would be perfect on the front of this folio.. and those tea papers are precious! Marilyn (Oregon)
Kathy another unique, creative, one of a kind creation. I really don’t know how you can sleep at night with all of the wonderful magic going on in your head every day! And to think that you are so giving and wonderful to share yourself with your blogosphere friends. This is just adorable, and we thank you so much for sharing.

Kathy, this little folio is so gorgeous. I just love all of your tea themed projects! I do have some of that Authentique paper that I bought a la carte. It is so warm with lovely patterns and colors for this time of year. Thanks for showing us again how to combine and use our scraps. And what a great design you did for this folio to show off lots of pretty patterns and images! Thank you so much for sharing and making the video! Hugs!
Absolutely lovely, Kathy! Let’s all storm Eileen Hull to bring back the tea cup die!
Absolutely gorgeous!
Cursed by insomnia – but I was simply thrilled to see this project pop up in my email today! Another stunning card folio, Kathy! Now I don’t WANT to sleep, I want to create!
